What if Akin made a deal with the Central Committee in which he could name a replacement? Yes, I know it is highly unlikely. Just asking a question to which I’d appreciate an answer.
That’s a swell idea Doug. I don’t know how unlikely it is, it sounds sensible to me, people seem to hate sensible ideas nowadays so I guess it won’t happen.
I don’t know about Akin “naming” the replacement exactly but giving him veto power or consulting with him and coming to a mutually agreeable choice, I could see that happening.
There is no indication the guy is gonna quit though, if so I hope that new poll is accurate and not nonsense.
