The media double standard is a pervasive long term problem that’s not gonna be solved by this November. I don’t know how to solve it.

The following post illustrates my point. Maybe it won't happen, but anytime a decision made by the voters gets second-guessed by party leaders, we have reason to be concerned.

It may eventually become necessary to replace Akin. I realize that. If it happens, at the very least, we need to put pressure on party leaders to make sure any new candidate reflects the wishes of the people who selected the original candidate.
