Like undersecretary of HHS. He can do a lot of positive pro-life stuff there.
More Akin. I’m shakin’ and achin’, not takin’ it no more!
He’s on Hannity radio. Horrible. Doesn’t get it. Won’t get out at all.
Engineers are horrible in politics. Dems were smart to spend a million on this guy.
I just came in from work and a quick errand. I went to Wal-Mart, and the 1st thing I heard there was a baby crying.
Akin is correct. For statutory/otherwise forcible rape, abortion should be authorized—especially in cases of a mother’s life truly being at stake. When I was young, this is the way it was. In fact, women would die, rather than giving up their unborn babies, in favor of the baby.
What have here are both parties saying abortion is OK. What is law is that the taking of so-called ‘unborn’ life is A-OK up to and after birth, even to the point of letting babies born from abortion to wither and die alone in some trash heap or on some stainless steel table somewhere.
In 0bama’s inaugural, he mentioned the word ‘life’ twice, both from a historical perspective. NOWHERE did he affirm the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
It’s ok to butcher people. The question now remains what age and which group.
Sex as pass time. Sex as fun. Sex without repercussions...at all.
This whole thing against Akin smells very political.
Akin sounded pretty solid on Hannity’s radio show today.
Screwed again.
Rush Limbaugh, Michelle Malkin, and Allen West are a bunch of limp wristed RINOs! When have they ever showed political or personal courage!
Most of these talk show hosts have no credibility on this kind of thing.
They regularly sacrifice principle, if not truth itself, in favor of their own careers.
“....He Must Put the Nation’s Future First”
.
After all you have read and experienced about politicians, you make such a statement?
Most of these talk show hosts have no credibility on this kind of thing.

Since the presumptive nominee for President has taken it upon himself to suggest that Todd Akin should withdraw his candidacy for the Senate for a misspoken word while dimwit Joe Biden gaffs away and offends practically every group you can name...I am suggesting that Mitt Romney withdraw his bid for nominee and let Rick Santorum take up the cause.
Since Romney has been pro-abortion as long as he’s been pro-life and since his healthcare plan in Massachusetts was the prototype for obamacare, and since Romney was for gun bans I think he should do the right thing for the party. After all he’s running neck and neck with the worst president that the United States has ever had, including Carter.
Come on Mitt, do the right thing for your country and your party. Withdraw!
>> Rush: the whole notion of “legitimate”/”illegitimate” rape, that’s the thing that bothers me about it. That’s just absurd. It’s not intelligent.
Hard to accept the public outrage given the ambiguity of Akin’s qualification.
It’s a strange and intriguing requirement that basic policy decisions need to be expressed in sophisticated terms. I guess the folksy, maladroit delivery overwhelms the psyche of the otherwise “astute” observer.
