It is possible he stays in today, does some polling, then later gets the court order. Could the MO GOP vote him out or is it all up to Akin?

I think he has to drop out. I just don’t like setting the precedent that the media can dictate who our candidate is, even after a primary. The media totally hype up stories while hiding others and create this stupid foaming mouth fervor. I mean, for Pete’s sake, I was ignoring anything Michelle Malkin posted because she had a huge argument over why her “estimated” numbers were more valid on rape than the police kept records. I get that rape isn’t always reported, but rapes that don’t happen also get reported. How do you factor that into “estimated” numbers?

Sometimes I’m depressed thinking about how we are all mere pawns of the media. Worse than that - we are the media’s version of Pavlov’s dogs.

If the Dim Party candidate in Tennessee is any indication, it is up to Akin. The state Party sued to remove a candidate and lost. They have to do their vetting before the candidate is allowed on the ballot for the primary.
