Then Barak isn't doing anything to America, either.

Elsie, that is a pure non sequitur....

Unless you are putting the Word of God and the Constitution ( a work of man, albeit a divinely inspired one) on the same footing.

Surely you, of all people, wouldn't want to do that.

But it is also true that in disparaging the Constitution (to put it mildly), 0bama is attacking the mainly God-fearing/God-loving We the People, who "ordained and established this Constitution ... to the benefit of ourselves and our posterity."

So, why do you seem to be putting the claims of Mormonism on the same footing as the eternal, indefeasible Word of God? And then suggest that the "God" side can be trumped by the "Mormon" side???

Fuggedaboudit! That dog cain't hunt....

Yet by implication you suggest that 0Bama can do the same thing, too.

The fact is, 0Bama can only do that by invoking "smoke and mirrors" — which, as a master black magician, he is very good at doing....

Are you willing to let him get away with that?

“the Constitution ( a work of man, albeit a divinely inspired one)”

No it isn’t.

It is an informed and for the most part virtuous document based in large part on natural (God’s) law, but it is not ‘divinely inspired’. It is the charter for a secular state, written by patriotic, shrewd, liberty loving and for the most part virtuous -men-, but it is not “God breathed”.

God already has a chosen nation, and the United States is not it, nor was it ever, and at some point the United States will cease to exist. I think most of us will live to see how very much the United States is NOT His chosen nation after 90% or so of the voters endorse one culture of death candidate or another in November. He has blessed America in the past because for the most part the people were virtuous. That is no longer true, consequently we no longer prosper despite our relative wealth.

Are you willing to let MORMONism get away with what IT is doing?
