Isn't focusing on the 'boys' as the problem, just a way of IGNORING that the issue was about 'gay' MEN joining the Boy Scouts as 'leaders'.

Both of these @$$#0LE’s are queer as a three dollar bill. There is no other explanation.
Does anyone have a picture of Romney throwing like a girl or hanging curtains?
I’m just waiting for either judgment from God on America or an apology from God for destroying Sodom and Gomorrah.
I can’t believe the GOP nominated this faggot.

There seems to be a confusion on the issue here.
Homosexual boys, if they so state they are, are not forbidden from being Scouts.
What is forbidden is adult homosexual men in positions of leadership.

Here we go again. A Republicrat nominee who agrees more with the Democan nominee than he disagrees. Bush 41, Dole, Bush 43, McCain and now Romney as “standard bearers” who DO NOT represent Conservatives. Much worse, they want our vote, only so they can betray us.
We bemoan the fact that blacks, hispanics and Jews continually vote Democrat. Yet, are Conservatives any different by constantly voting Republican?

Speaking from personal experience.....
I have had a fair number of gay friends. I respected them and their respected me but they new two things. I liked girls and if “they” ever tried to get to familiar with me they would end up with a busted lip.
I never had to take such action.
ON THE OTHER HAND. I do not support Gay Preferences or Gay Marriage.
I can (probably) say that 90+ per cent of my fellow Americans feel the same way as I do, and I am proud of that fact.

I stand with the scouts. They see what a Jerry Sandusky can do and yet they are willing to have it happen all over again? No to Obama and No to Romney as far as this is concerned. You are both wrong!

To me the article is deceptive. Aren’t they taking statements that Romney made in 1994 and saying this is his position today. I did not read any recent comments Romney made regarding homosexual scoutmasters.
To: SoConPubbie
Yes, and Romney has stated he’s a-ok with gays adopting children as well.
Makes me want to vomit. I’m so disgusted with the GOP, I just don’t think any words to really express it.

The BSA is a private organization. It doesn't make any difference what Mitt Romney, nobama or anyone else thinks. The BSA can run their organization as they see fit:
In 2000, the Supreme Court ruled in Boy Scouts of America v. Dale that Boy Scouts, and all private organizations, have the constitutionally protected right under the First Amendment of freedom of association to set membership standards. Source.
The queers need to go jump on each other.
I'm disappointed at Romney's stance on this. But no politician in the world meets all of my criteria for POTUS. There are several politicians that come closer to my ideal than Romney. Unfortunately, they aren't in the running for POTUS.
I feel we have to play with the cards we're dealt. Unless something changes and because my overriding concern is to have my vote truly count towards getting rid of nobama, I find myself reluctantly voting for Romney.

Does anyone know if Mitt Romney ever worked as one of the Temple Workers in the LDS Temple that would hand wash the private parts of young men in the "sacred" Temple ritual before giving them their own pair of Magic Underwear?
If he was then that might go a long way to explain his strange twisted desire to have Homosexual Boy Scouts and Homosexual Scoutmasters.

In a misguided effort to save FR conservatives from the impure, you engaged in obsessive-compulsive anti-Perry spamming...yet, we ended up with Romney.
And now you are repeating the process, digging up old Romney articles to once again, save us from our clueless selves.
You're not gonna be happy until we end up with another 4 more years of Obama, are you?

yeah, boy scouts are not about homosexuality.
i know there are women who think the Catholic church ought to have female priests...but they accept the church’s authority.
i think the same is probably true of Mitt’s attitude.
To: SoConPubbie
The Mormon church enrolls about 1/8 of all BSA traditional members. And they have told the BSA that the day they admit openly gay members, the Mormons will take their kids and adults out.
