while living in Cleveland, OH. for over 50 years worked with and had many black friends..husband did as well and so did our kids, and now that the kids are adults they have black friends that they work with, live by and socialize with...
and I did stay tuned and I thought Ryan walked down a few steps and shook hands with the front row...I did not notice him turn around and greet the folks on stage...maybe I was not watching close enough!!! what ever...
Only those running the rally would’ve been in charge of “planting” them there.
It isn’t possible to wander in off the street, unknown to anyone in authority at the rally, and sit behind the speaker.
Someone known to the rally organizers knows these people you speak of.
The woman’s behavior sounds unusual at a rally, and especially with a front row seat. I’m not doubting it, as I didn’t see the rally and take your word for it.
It’s just that there’s no doubt they were there on purpose, not acidentally, and that those in charge were responsible for it.
Perhaps there’s a good explanation for what she did, if we only knew it.
There are many black people who are going public with their negative assessment of Obama and the Dem Party.
Another one I didn’t see mentioned here, is former Virginia Gov. Douglas Wilder. He is now helping the Romney/Ryan ticket, and he was critical of what Joe Biden said the other day.
I was there! huge applause, too, when Artur Davis announced that Romney/Ryan is now ahead in the polls in Virginia. what a difference a week makes!

“Is it just me? This link is giving me a bunch of weather forecasts around the country & no audio.”
You’re doing better than me. The link takes me to a page that’s trying to force me to install something called octoshape.
I think we will see more and more blacks supporting the GOP. They are as smart and entrepreneurial as whites but they are being held back by the “black leaders” (Dems) for the benefit of the latter and I think a lot of them are getting tired of it.
An interesting thing is that when you see black Hispanics from the Caribbean (Dominicans in New York, for example, and some Cubans, although Castro is very harsh on black Cubans and it has been very hard for them to emigrate), they do just fine because they’re not sitting around with a chip on their shoulders.
And most of them were originally brought to the New World as slaves. While the Spanish didn’t practice pure chattel slavery the way the English and the Americans did (Spanish slaves in theory had legal rights, could be baptized, marry, earn money, buy their freedom, etc.), in practice this depended largely on the individual who owned them. So many Afro-Caribbeans had horrible circumstances too. But once they had opportunity, they went for it.
And black Americans want a chance to do the same and not be told by the Dems that they need to wait and have the government give it to them. I guess maybe if they want 40 acres and a mule, Bambi could come up with that...and remember, that’s his attitude.
He’s not a black American. He’s the mixed-race child of a foreign student father he never knew and he was brought up in a well-off white family or in foreign countries. He married Michelle Ma Belle mostly to give himself some black creds.
But he himself has nothing in common with American blacks.
Just maybe they were related to Artur Davis? Would be logical!
More like a "reach around"
That happens on both sides. Modern politics is full of manufactured and phoney crap like this. Makes me wanna hurl. I would love to see our guys get out there and deliver the goods without the phoney backdrop and assorted crapola.
I truly understand. The after-speech handshaking was hard to follow. So...many folks were pressing to touch Paul Ryan. it was hard to follow. In addition, the secret service was really doing a good job today in protecting Ryan, but letting him greet his fans. There were a number of Black American SS folks protecting Ryan.....and I was deeeply impressed as to how focused they were. It’s like they sense, our country needs this team badly. Getting hopeful, for all Americans!!!
By the way, catch the action Saturday morning at the “Villages” located in Central Florida. Should be quite the rally and campaign stop for Paul Ryan!!!
and what has been the average crowd for Obama this year? 350?
Any idea on what media and what time the Villages speech happens?
Can someone help me with these attacks on Paul Ryan?

I have been arguing with these people for weeks, and have hopefully swayed at least one of them to open his eyes. This is a site where Democrats and Republicans can anonymously debate the issues, but since most Democrat debaters apparently don’t have jobs or other obligations, they have more time on their hands to spread propaganda. The conservatives are outnumbered.
So, what have you been telling them during your discussions?

You asked, who is Paul Ryan? Well, here's a response.
Well, early Saturday morning we learned that Congressman Paul Ryan, Republican from Wisconsin, is to be Mitt Romney's pick for the next Vice President of The United States.
What are we to think of this selection? He's not a graduate of Columbia University. He's not a graduate of Harvard. He wasn't selected as the President of the Harvard Law Review. He didn't get a special free quota scholarship ride to any prestigious university and, instead, had to work his way through Miami University of Ohio. For God's sake the man drove the Oscar Mayer Wiener Truck one summer and waited tables another!
One morning when Paul Ryan was sixteen years old he went in to wake his father up and found him dead of a heart attack. He didn't write two books about that experience (like Obama did). Instead, he assumed the role of adult at an early age, never having the luxury to pursue youthful drug use and the art of socialist revolution.
Instead, Paul Ryan and his mother took his grandmother, suffering from Alzheimer's, into the household and served as the primary care provider for his grandma. His grandma wasn't the Vice President of the Bank of Hawaii (like Obama’s) so she could offer nothing in return, except the element of “need”.
Once Paul Ryan got his BA in Economics from Miami University of Ohio he was hired as a staff economist in Wisconsin Senator Kastin’s office. The job must have not paid well because young Ryan moonlighted as a waiter and fitness trainer. No one offered him a “token honor” position at the University of Chicago and a $200,000 dollar a year salary.
When a still young Paul Ryan returned to Wisconsin to run for Congress he didn't demonize his opponent and dig up dirt to shovel against him. He waited until the standing Congressman vacated the office before seeking the office. In Janesville, Wisconsin they don't have a big political machine to promote you, to criminalize your opponent; instead Paul Ryan had to go door to door and sit at kitchen tables and listen to his future constituents.
After getting elected to Congress Paul Ryan didn't triumphantly march into Washington, buy himself a Georgetown townhouse and proceed over to K Street to rub elbows with lobbyists. He bunked in his Congressional office and used the house gym for showers and a fresh change of clothes.
Paul Ryan then married and took his bride back to Janesville. He lives on the same street he lived on as a kid and shares the neighborhood with eight other members of the Ryan clan. He hunts with the local Janesville hunt club and attends PTA meetings and other civic functions.
For those who can't make those public functions, Paul Ryan bought an old bread truck, converted it into a “mobile constituent office” and drives around to meet with those who need his help and attention.
No, I don't know if we can vote for a guy like this. He doesn't have a regal pedigree; he's Irish for God's sake! No one awarded him a Nobel Peace Prize two months after getting elected. No one threw flowers or got “chills down their leg” as a he took his seat in Congress.
What is most despicable about Paul Ryan is that he has had the nerve to write the House Budget for three years in a row. He's is brazen and heartless in advocating in that budget for a $5 trillion dollar reduction in federal spending over the next ten years! The House passed his budget three years in a row and three years in a row the Democratically controlled Senate has let it die in the upper house, without ever proposing a budget of their own. What is wrong with this guy? If Congress were to cut $5 trillion dollars from the budget where would the President get the money to give $500 million dollars to a bankrupt Solyndra? Or $200 million dollars for bankrupt Energy 1? Or $11 billion dollars to illegal aliens filing INIT, non-resident tax returns to claim $11 billion big ones in child tax credits, even for their children living in Mexico?
I don't know. Paul Ryan seems heartless to me. He keeps wanting to cut government waste, he keeps wanting to put a halt to those big GSA conventions in Vegas and, worse, he keeps trying to make people look at that $16.7 trillion dollar deficit! The guy's no fun at all!
Who wants a numbers cruncher? Who wants someone spoiling the party by showing folks the bill? Nothing will spoil a party quicker than sending the host the bill before the party's over.
Once upon a time there was a ginormous colorful RINOcerous who tried to ride a Gym Rat (who was for TARP before he was against it - BUT, could’ve been a professional skier) into a White Hut down in a mosquito infested swamp called Washington D.C...
Thanks!
