Using Romey's investment firm's connection to a medical waste company that disposed of aborted fetuses, among many other things, to infer that Romney profited from abortions is about as valid as the Obama campaign ad that claimed a worker in a factory once owned, then closed, by Romneys investment company died of cancer (years later) and it was Romney's fault. Bogus and desperate.

Using the hot-button issue of abortion to smear Romney is shameless but its what the left does. That some conservatives are so eager to jump in the slime with the left because of their almost maniacal hatred for Romney is sad to watch. The next president will be either Mitt Romney or Barack Obama. Those who believe that their hatred for Mitt Romney trumps the fact that Obama is a communist trying to destroy our country will do as they wish on election day. Most conservatives can see the difference between the two men and will choose sanity over hatred and vote for Romney. We can carp and complain about the Romney presidency all we want after the election but for most of us, its Anybody But Obama. That would be Mitt Romney.

Thank you for making essential points. Your analysis of the relevance of the medical waste smear is spot on.

Disposing of medical waste, regardless of what is involved, is essential to prevention of mass contagion. The sort of specious reasoning that would demonize cleanup, because it incidentally sometimes involves cleanup from something that is repugnant, is truly cutting off your nose to spite your face.

As one opposed to Roe vs. Wade, I sincerely wish that some of those equally opposed would step back & recognize when their approach is absolutely counter-productive to the reform that they seek.

The best way to fight the abortionists, if we ever want to win: Abortion Debate. This is another piece from the 2000 Campaign, using Al Gore as a foil to make a valid point: "A Woman's Right To Choose".
