I’m sure you’re right. My emphasis was more on the generic idea that Mubarak was too authoritarian, and so they needed “change”. [ Where have we heard that before? ]

So what they have is a new strong man, that could very easily make Mubarak look like an old softy by comparison.

Morsi’s set to make both Mubarak and Nasser look weak by contrast. He is already the most authoritarian figure in that country’s recent history.
