The attacks on newly announced Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan came fast and furious on CNN Saturday.
Just before Candy Crowley said this "looks a little bit like some sort of ticket death wish," Gloria Borger called Ryan "a polarizing figure" (video follows with transcript and commentary):
WOLF BLITZER, CNN: He's a huge rising star in the Republican Party.GLORIA BORGER, CNN: Right. And what's interesting is that Paul Ryan hasn't always been popular among Republicans. I mean, he's proposed a lot of unpopular things over the years including taking away earmarks. And, but only I think after the Tea Party really took hold did Republicans, and you had a bunch of new Republicans in, did they sort of say, Look at this Ryan budget. It actually makes sense to us because it has solutions that we can sign on to. And then suddenly you saw the Republicans embrace it almost unanimously in the House of Representatives. And now you saw Democrats running against it. That's going to continue.
The debate is going to continue because Paul Ryan is a polarizing figure. I mean, there is an ad done by Democrats having somebody who looks like Paul Ryan pushing a grandma off the cliff.
awesome! they said similar things about Sarah Palin. they’re panicking, and I really relish that.
bump
come on! Press the advantage! start talking about a place for Sarah in the administration! Secretary of State!
For the first time in this ladies life she is probably right. Ryan is a polarizing figure to Democrats and Marxist, because Ryan LOVES his country and knows it has been on the wrong path since Reagan left.
Wanna scare the crap out of a liberal..say FREEDOM and CAPITALISM..it literally makes their ears bleed
I’d rather have the ticket inverted, but it’s a lot better than it might have been.
Unfortunately, Sarah Palin lost a landslide election with her liberal top of the ticket in 2008.
I see the same, or perhaps even worse, for Ryan and his liberal running mate in 2012.
The country isn’t ready yet for a serious discussion of spending and entitlement reform. We haven’t quite hit rock bottom yet which is what it will take, but by then it is probably too late to do anything about it.
We are going to see the moochers and the elderly turn out in record numbers to protect their government benefits this cycle, and the results are going to be ugly.
Count on it.
Gloria is going for the Pelosi Look there, isn’t she?
As I mentioned in another tread, the RNC should have a commercial out tomorrow with Bambi pushing Uncle Sam over a cliff.
The more the left flips out, the better I feel.
When I see Gloria Bolger on TV I immediately change the station. Cannot stand her, and that is a rare reaction for me. I am sure that there are many others who have the same response to her.
Or with obomba giving out pills instead of pacemakers.
And Obama isn’t, you ignorant slut???
Vote Romney. Watching the liberals implode in November is completely worth it.
This bitch is Satan. I’ve watched her for years and have never changed my opinion. I keep thinking,...who could make love to this harpy? She looks like a rabid dog. A hydrophobic libtard infecting everything she touches!
