With late night confirmation that the presumptive GOP nominee had chosen the Wisconsin congressman as his running mate, the industry began to slowly chime in.
Given that Mitt Romney's choice of Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan as his running mate was a move to excite the right wing of the Republican Party, and that Hollywood is closely aligned with the re-election effort of President Barack Obama, it should come as little surprise that the immediate reaction from the industry has been less than enthusiastic.
Though it remains early, a few filmmakers and comedians have already chimed in. Michael Moore called the pick a smart choice, if only for Ryan's ability to "get people to the polls," as he slammed him for stoking "ignorance and fear." Meanwhile, Kal Penn joked that he was upset Romney hadn't chosen Lousianna Gov. Bobby Jindal, as he could have played him on television.
Two supporters: Suzanne Somers and Rupert Murdoch, both of whom praised the Ryan pick.

Both clinton and Obama have brought out these show business jerks for the socialists hacks they really are.
Asking their opinion about it means about as much as Madoff’s opinion about honest business.
The keynote indicator of their stupidity in purposely alienating over half their potential audiences. Yeah, they have their reedom of choice like everyone else, but “everyone else” has freedom too, like no supporting them in any way.
Good to know that Suzanne Somers approves.

You just know that old Joe Biden is somewhere in a corner cowering in the fetal position and soiling his Depends.
Oh! I though I felt a shift in the tilt of the Earth's axis.

Kal Penn and Michael Moore.
A lib-tard and a tub O lard.
Yeah....I'll sleep better tonight now that I've gotten their opinions.

“Weigh in”! Ha! I’ll bet the floor creaked when he did.
Perhaps it’s just me but I am inclined to side with Suzanne Somers, rather than Michael Moore.
Mike’s just bitter that Babies ‘R’ Us doesn’t have a deli counter.
With Obama’s record ignorance and fear are the only tool the libs have to work with.
aka = ship sinking
“Asking their opinion about it means about as much as Madoffs opinion about honest business.”
That is so true. It also reminds me of what Alice Cooper once said. He once said that “If you rely on some hollywood celebrity for advice on who to vote for; you’re a bigger moron than they are.”
Also, was glad to hear that Dirty Harry was on our side.
