Charles Krauthammer on Paul Ryan for VP:
“The best analogy I think is the late 1970′s when Reagan became the candidate and people thought, Democrats thought this was a real opportunity for us. Look at all the wild stuff he’s done. He’s a guy far out on the right. He’s an easy target. And it turned out to be different. I think Paul Ryan has that Reagan-like quality.”
Charles is still a Democrat. He is easily impressed.
Now please quote someone who is not a Washington insider.
Charles - though badly wrong at times - is correct about Reagan.
Either he is correct, or wrong, about RR. Those are the only two options. Pick one. Doesn’t matter WHO Charles is, he’s either right, or wrong, about Reagan.
He states that in his view Paul Ryan has the same type of personal qualities that allowed Reagan to smoke the Democrats, despite how they and media hated him and railed against him.
That’s my view of Ryan, as well.
We will see.
The Republicans have it almost right. They have candidates for VP (Cheney, Palin, Ryan) that are better than the presidential candidates!
Charles is correct... Ryan DOES have tht Reagan-LIke Quality. Serious, Patriotic, Does what is right for the country, and...has a great sense of humor and more importantly... he SMILES cause he is HAPPY inside as he will make ALL Americans once he is inaugurated.
I was so hoping Romney would pick Marco Rubio.
