If the GOP-e is going to forever be just the party that runs on the economy then there is little difference between the asses and pachyderms. One party believes in unlimited FedGov spending and the other just a reasonable amount.

Ryan was my first choice.
More than anything else, the problem is the budget. Ryan understands the problem better than anyone else.

I predict that the rats will purposely confuse him with George Ryan and the media will go right along, with microscopic retractions when caught. How many sheeple still think Sara Palin said she can see Russia from her house?

Yes, he will, in effect, be voting for Obama. But that’s okay because he and his ilk are special, doncha know. They are pure. They are self-righteous. They all wear their super-hero jammies and decoder rings. They are willing to stand firm on “principle” as the house burns down around them.

If the debate is going to be about the economy, I can’t think of anyone who draws a starker contracts with the poser-in-chief.

National Right To Life Committee supports Romney.
Massachusetts Citizens for Life supports Romney.
You have been out voted, in the prolife camp.

nobama hates Free America and is a fascist socialist.
Romney loves Free America and is a capitalist.
Ryan is a great choice.
Come together and support a pro-Free-Amrica team. To do otherwise is to support nobama.

Agreed. Solid pick, telegenic, intellectual. 60 posts in and no won has mentioned that this move just gave Romney Wisconsin...

Still can't get my vote ~ not even if he had Jesus running with him.Your hatred for Mittens would prevent you from voting even for Jesus? I hope the irony of this is not lost on you.

Still can't get my vote ~ not even if he had Jesus running with him. That's probably one of the worst comments I've ever seen here on FreeRepublic (and there have been some DOOZIES as of late!). What a disgusting thing to say!
You can either be relevant to the problems America faces - OR GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY - we've got a lot of work to do!

I like Ryan just fine. Now if we can get him at the top of the ticket we might just win this thing.
