Hi blackie ((((Hugs))))
Roland the Roadie and Gertrude the Groupie
BTW, I'm Roland, not Gertrude
Drat- I never recorded it.
I suppose I could, and put it up on You Tube or some other on line repository.
Have long been tempted to do that actually.
I do have a Reverbnation page with some of my other music that I have recorded under a different user name.
Drop me a PM if interested - don’t want to put it up here.
Hugz back 2 ya Deah!
Way Out Here
By Josh Thompson
Our houses are protected by the good Lord and a gun
And you might meet 'em both if you show up here not welcome son
Our necks are burnt, our roads are dirt and our trucks ain't clean
The dogs run lose, we smoke, we chew and fry everything
Out here, way out here
(Chorus) We won't take a dime if we ain't earned it
When it comes to weight brother we pull our own
If it's our backwoods way of livin' you're concerned with
You can leave us alone
We're about John Wayne, Johnny Cash and John Deere
Way out here
We got a fightin' side a mile wide but we pray for peace
'Cause it's mostly us that end up servin' overseas
If it was up to me I'd love to see this country run
Like it used to be, oughta be, just like it's done
Out here, way out here
(Chorus) We won't take a dime if we ain't earned it
When it comes to weight brother we pull our own
If it's our backwoods way of livin' you're concerned with
You can leave us alone
We're about John Wayne, Johnny Cash and John Deere
Way out here
We won't take a dime if we ain't earned it
When it comes to weight brother we pull our own
If it's our backwoods way of livin' you're concerned with
You can leave us alone
We're about John Wayne, Johnny Cash and John Deere

Bob Dylan
“Billy 4”
There’s guns across the river about to pound you
There’s a lawman on your trail like to surround you
Bounty hunters are dancing all around you
Billy, they don’t like you to be so free
Camping out all night on the veranda
Walking in the streets down by the hacienda
Up to boot hill they’d like to send you
Billy, don’t you turn your back on me
There’s mills inside the minds of crazy faces
Bullet holes and rifles in their cases
There’s always one more notch in four more aces
Billy, and you’re playing all alone
Playing around with some sweet senorita
Into her dark chamber she will greet you
In the shadows of the mesa she will lead you
Billy, and you’re going all alone
They say that Pat Garrett’s got your number
So sleep with one eye open, when you wonder
If every little sound just might be thunder
Thunder from the barrel of his gun
There’s always another stranger sneaking glances
Some trigger-happy fool willing to take chances
Some old whore from San Pedro to make advances
Advances on your spirit and your soul
The businessmen from Taos want you to go down
So they’ve hired mister Garrett, to force you to slow down
Billy, don’t it make you feel so low down?
To be hunted by the man who was your friend
So hang onto your woman, if you got one
Remember in El Paso once you shot one
I’ll be in Santa Fe about one
Billy, you’ve been running for so long
Gypsy queens will play your grand finale
Way down in some Tularosa alley
Maybe in La Rio Pecas Valley
Billy, you’re so far away from home
Billy, you’re so far away from home
Billy, you’re so far away from home
Roland the Headless Thompsom Gunner
another great one from Warren Zevon
Gotta love Tommy.
Small Change is a great song.
Just finished cleaning up after getting another load of stuff from the in-law’s house. Ladders, roller shelves, lamps, storage boxes, light bulbs, tools and the like.
FIL gave me several containers of coins, and I have been putting them into sleeves. So far, it is over $400 and counting. There were over $75 in pennies alone.
Thanks, unique, for the cheer guys.
Hawaii.....#50!!
goodwithagun.....#100!!
beachy.....#300!!
G-Bear.....#350!!
That is just SOOOO many pennies!! And a whole lot of rolling.
And sounds like you got some good stuff.
Cash them in.Check them out too some might be old.
He had a three pound coffee can almost full and another container. I weighed the pennies and there were 28.35 lbs. I wish I could sell them for the price of copper at a recycle place.
The problem with the stuff is that I already have all that at our home. I got three weed trimmers, two lawnmowers and other goodies from him some time ago.

Oh, I checked out all the coins and found several silver dimes, quarters and very old pennies. I also found several coins from other countries. I need to clean them and see what their monetary value is. Forgot to give you (((HUGS))) earlier.
