It's not if this statement is true or not - it is the seriousness of the charge.

Three observations:

(1) They definitely should discuss Zimmerman's school transcripts - the public has a right to inspect the transcripts of a person of such public importance as George Zimmerman, right Sentinel?

(2) Everything "accidentally" leaked by the prosecution just happens to taint the jury pool against Zimmerman. None of Martin's criminal records or (I'm sure exemplary) educational records were leaked, were they?

(3) "Zimmerman shot Trayvon" - interesting phrasing. Not "George shot Trayvon" or "Zimmerman shot Martin."

Formal distance for George Zimmerman, easy familiarity for Trayvon Martin.

Zimmerman . . . failed an astronomy class in the fall of 2011 . . . placed on academic probation the summer of 2011 because his grade-point average dropped below 2.0, a C average . . . I second the question, why is it ok to release Zimmerman’s school records and not the President’s? The records have nothing to do with the charges against Zimmerman. Therefore, under privacy laws, these records should not be released.
