Romney-Trump? Dems can dream

Romney-Bachmann. Romney-Gingrich. Or even Romney-Trump.

Those are the bumper stickers Democrats would love to see splashed proudly on the back of their competitors’ cars after Mitt Romney announces his vice presidential pick in the coming weeks.

Although the presumptive GOP nominee isn’t giving away any clues as to who will be his No. 2 on the presidential ticket, there’s a second roster of possible running mates that makes up a Christmas list of sorts for Democrats excited by the possibility that a bad pick could sandbag Romney as he heads into the final weeks of the campaign and give President Barack Obama a clearer road to reelection.

This list doesn’t include the Tim Pawlentys, Rob Portmans and Marco Rubios of the world — those men are on Romney’s presumed short list. Instead, Democrats say they would be gleeful to see a wild card like Michele Bachmann, or possibly even Donald Trump, by Romney’s side.

I watched the interview Greta had with Allen West. As I watched West coolly and assertively respond to the line of questions, I thought about Romney’s impending VP choice and thought... “If only....”

Ryan, because of the budget proposals pertaining to Medicare? He would destroy Biden The Slow in a debate.

Agreed.

Col. West would give the dumocrats nightmares. While liberals are two faced and see no problem with being hateful and sexist against women like Sarah Palin, they are too chicken(bleep) to show that same level of hate towards blacks.

Why not take a Democrat? Mr. Romney could be honest
which would be a new thing.

Kerry has the same Global Warming and TARP ideas,
but that would never fly with Kerry’s wife.
Hillary has the same RomneyCARE ideas as Mr. Romney,
so how about Romney/Clinton 2012
