The "hatred" on this thread is obvious from Mitt defenders against those who refuse to kiss his ring.

Here is fresh fodder for those who might want to explore and then to direct their hatred at the actual actions of mormonism.

Tell us again how Romney and Obama are "different".

Bridges of Faith Between Mormons and Muslims

***********************************************

"For Latter-day Saints, there is no dispute or question regarding this issue since Joseph Smith restored many of these plain and precious truths to us through direct revelation from God. We are able to answer what we think of Christ with conviction and testimony. We know of his birth, death, role, and that he still lives. We have no doubts that he will come again to this earth and that every knee shall bow and tongue confess that Jesus is the Christ.

This knowledge, as revealed through modern day prophets, puts us at odds sometimes with our fellow Christians. We find ourselves often in the position of fighting misconceptions that we worship Joseph Smith or that we are not even Christian despite the fact that our church is named after Jesus Christ. Our belief in the distinctness of personage between God the Father and Christ separates us from the majority of Christian groups today who hold to the Nicean doctrine of the trinity. We declare that God, Christ and the Holy Ghost are three separate beings who work together in a Godhead that is one in purpose, not one joined together in a single corporeal body or essence. We do not believe that Christ was God the Father incarnate while living his earthly life. We do not glorify, worship or pray to him instead of God the Father nor do we pray to the Virgin Mary or other saintly people.

The fact that we do not use the normal Christian icons of the cross or crucified Christ figure in our churches is another point that promotes our individuality. We also believe that the Bible is the word of God only as far as it is translated correctly. We know it contains faults, is missing text and in many instances uses mistranslations. This confession on our part widens the gap between us and other main-stream Christian faiths. With the addition of our other three books of scripture, it is no wonder that the majority of Christendom today views us as something entirely outside their concept of a Christian faith. Conversely, from our side, Parley P. Pratt’s comments from 1855 as quoted earlier are still relevant now in that we would most likely view modern Christianity’s trinitarian doctrines to be a form of heathenism as compared with those of Islam that closely parallel our own".

For the record, I am Catholic. I am not, however, threatened by Mormons.

Someone's keeping a record?

Wrong.

Every single candidate that many on FR supported has come out (including Palin) and has supported Romney. Newt, Perry, Cain, Bachmann, Santorum.

Just the facts, they all have, most for one reason....the alternative is simply unthinkable. Like I said in my post, it's clear that she did it reluctantly, but she was the one who popularized the term Anyone But Obama, and unfortunately for you and the other Axelrod suckers "conservatives", that means the winner of the GOP nomination.

Congrats on your "purity" (and your insanity).

Why thank you!!

Acts 26:24 niv

At this point Festus interrupted Paul's defense.
"You are out of your mind, Paul!" he shouted.
"Your great learning is driving you insane."

It is a fear grounded largely in reality, but some over do it.

It is understood that Mitt is the guy, but conservative cheer-leading is a tick much, but I do understand it. What is sad is the same scared conservatives who are now praising Romney once stood against him for many of the same reasons, and worse they now throw the title "Obama Supporter" at those of us not so enamored with the man.

My only question is at how far will some forgo principles in the face of that fear, or another. What are we willing to throw under the bus with a smile on our face? Abortion? Health-care? Welfare? Immigration? Christianity itself?

“Every single candidate that many on FR supported has come out (including Palin) and has supported Romney. Newt, Perry, Cain, Bachmann, Santorum.”

Of course they did. They are Republicans who have ongoing political aspiration of higher office. How could they not support RINOmney?

Do they think RINOmney is better than Zero? Sure. Do they think RINOmney is a RINO? Sure.

But they have no choice. It is expected and required of them to support the chosen RINO.

The rest of us have no such aspirations or requirements. We each choose how to invest just one vote (unless you live in Chicago or Philadelphia).

I will be voting for every conservative candidate on my ballot, skipping the liberal candidates.

I’ve had a TS since 1983 and caveats requiring a poly, off and on, since 1995.

I have not noticed the religion of the background investigator or security office personnel. So, are you asking background investigators and security office personnel what religion they practice?

Most false-positives on a poly are from practicing Catholics and Mormons. . .a strong sense of right and wrong and an inherent guilt feeling causes a sense of unending “guilt.”

They are loud because they have created a "posse" to gang up on people and have destroyed many threads.

You finally got one right!

We HAVE 'destroyed' those MORMONs who used to misuse the CAUCUS threads; attacking CHRISTIANs and leaving no room for rebuttal.

And we GANGUP on arrogant folks who think they can just barge in, accuse and leave the scene.

And we ARE a 'posse' that looks out for each other and everyone of us have slightly different areas of expertise regarding MORMONism.

Now then; got anything GOOD to say about mormonISM; or is it merely good neighbors that can be successfully defended here?

Sorry, Paul did have great learning, and you still don’t have a lick of sense and can’t tell the difference; to compare yourself to him by quoting scripture (the devil quotes scripture) is silliness and tawdry at best.

I am anxiously awaiting answers to your question from those on this thread who are raging against those standing by their principles and refusing to prostitute their vote by giving it to Romney.
