At least four people were shot just after 10 a.m. Sunday at the Sikh Temple in Oak Creek, and a police SWAT team entered the building before noon and brought uninjured people out of the building at 7512 S. Howell Ave.
Among those who were shot was the president of the temple.
People were in the temple as early as 6:30 a.m. Sunday and many more were arriving for a service that was to begin about 11:30 a.m.
There were reports that children were taken to the building's basement after shots were fired.
CNN certainly seems to be gearing up to portray this shooting as white bigotry for sure. Not sure how much longer I can take this crap. Not sure why the FBI needs to be involved if the perp is dead. It’s not like they are going to prosecute him on terror charges. He’s dead!
I think they are calling it domestic terrorism because it happened in a house of worship. Also I take the fact that CAIR has already released a statement to be very interesting, why would they release a statement so quickly saying how they stand with the Sikh community.
“I think theres a lot more to this story. If this was retaliation for 9-11 why now almost 11 years later.”
I shudder to think that it could be a veteran with PTSD that recently came back and, unfortunately, didn’t know there was a difference between Sikh’s and Muslims.
Given how effective he was, and that he “ambushed” the arriving LEO, it sounds like he has some kind of tactical know-how. Plus, it sounds like he walked up to the wounded and put rounds in their head/face. Sounds like the poise of someone with experience. Most people in the face of return fire from police officers don’t manage to stay steady enough to take one out and then fire on another one.
Wild speculation, I know, but I’m not buying any of the conspiracy theories. People will exploit the tragedy for their own political ends, no doubt, but it doesn’t mean it’s anything more than a lone gunman who just went nuts. There will be a reason, we’ll find out, I’m sure.
That’s what it is starting to smell like here.
They dont call CNN the Communist News Network for nothing..if I really wanted to believe in conspiracy theories I would somehow link how the two shootings so far have happened in swing states..first Colorado, now Wisconsin..you can bet Obama will be ready to attend any memorial event in WI to get some more voters in his corner
heavily armed people on Holmes
Very possible but again..why would they be so quick to say it is a domestic terrorism incident if it is a lone nutter?
Because the nut job was probably triggered by the Colorado shooting
Who has a blood hate for Sikhs?
It aint Bubba. It's mudHamhead.
Yea? What are they covering RIGHT NOW and who is the news reader?
Has Jonathan Ross connected this to the Tea Party yet? /s
Agree
Thanks for the updates. On another site (a bit woo woo) they have up some interviews with witnesses saying there were more than one shooter, some said 4, with some black clothes on. I guess I could find some links to the interviews if anyone wants.
Shortly after 9/11, a Sikh was attacked in San Diego because some idiot couldn’t tell the difference. It was sad and very unfortunate.
Not if the nut thought they were muslims
Four or five times as many people will be killed in Chicago this weekend than were killed at the temple, but none of the murders will be described as domestic terrorism. Prayers for all.
A good point on the swing states. Isn’t is sad that we have so little faith in our institutions of government and media under this man Obama. I use to never think this way about our country. Just too much has happened since Obama was elected to not turn into a conspiracy nut...lol! You would have to be a nut to take everything they say as gospel truth.
