Rollins bent like a good Country Clubber on the tax returns. Romney should have some backbone and tell them to get lost. They will only use whatever he releases to beat him with so why give them the weapons? They had no problem with Kerry’s returns or his wife’s.

“we tried it their way and it didn’t work” followed by “our ideas worked, just look at Clinton”.

At least part of the answer to that is the dem Congress along with Franklin Raines and Barney Frank allowing the crazy lending practices which destroyed housing. Once the voters learn that GW had a dem congress his last few years and take into account the destruction of capitalism by raines and frank it all makes sense.

We just don't have anyone talking about it right now except here.Rush to the rescue!!!

And of course Clinton had a Republican Congress as the answer to his success.Remember Newt Gingrich?

On a very somber note, ABC posts twelve military personnel killed in Afghanistan this last week.

dingy harry keeps saying mitt needs to prove he files his taxes. Since when does anyone have to prove you did something. I thought the burden of proof was the other way around.

Cruz gives such a fabulous interview, ie explains conservative values so well, he will never be invited on any other channel. He will be invisible to them.

Yup. My thoughts exactly.

Just as Nancy’s congress is never mentioned as part of the problem for the meltdown. Same with the under 5% unemployment rate for Bush’s pre-Pelosi years.

As I understand it, our government “war games” almost everything. Even things like war with England or Mexico or Canada are all studied. So a war games scenario with some tea party patriots wouldn’t surprise me.

Might be a fun exercise for some but it doesn’t attract me very much. It seems like a repeat of the Red Dawn movie with a different threat.

Whenever I see Axeldork, I can’t help but think of a snake. It must be his beady eyes and the way he flicks his tongue when he speaks.

Satan is often portrayed as a snake. Is that a coincidence — or just me?

FOX News Sunday - with David Axelrod - Wallace asks about jobs numbers. 23 million unemployed, working less, etc. Why does obama deserve a second term with these numbers?

Axelrod we would have been in a depression without obama’s intervention (auto industry, etc.) - burp

Romney’s plan would raise taxes on middle class. Wallace asks about “recovery summer” and claim that the stimulus would keep unemployment under 8 percent. Axelrod - I never said that. (???) Romney will raise taxes on middle by 2 grand, cut education.

Wallace brings him back to obama’s record. Axelrod says the crisis wasn’t of our making - has never been a worse one since the depression. Axelrod says he keeps bringing up Romney because it’s a choice of going back (to Bush) or moving forward with new plan.

It is galling to hear Axelrod using Kristol, Will, and other RINOs to push Romney to release more than two years of tax returns when Obama has been spending big bucks keeping his school, birth, and medical records sealed,.

Obama didn't release his medical records in 2008, just a one page summary while McCain released 1100 pages. The Senate introduced a resolution to look into McCain's eligibility to be President. Obama was one of the sponsors.

Romney would be crazy to release any more of his tax records and he could use it to his advantage to point out that Obama is the least vetted President in our history. Romney wants to keep the focus on the economy and jobs, but he is missing a golden opportunity to go after Obama's personal narrative. Obama's autobiography is full of lies.

Romney should go after Reid beyond the put up or shut up. He should ask Harry Reid to release his tax returns along with the rest of Congress, which only submits annual financial disclosure forms. As someone who filled out these forms for more than 10 years, I can tell you that the tax returns are much more revealing. Congress makes the laws and the public has a vested interest in seeing their tax returns. Go on the offensive, Mitt.

Actually, on the Clinton economy part, I have heard Republicans say it.

It’s just that the Driveby Media is loath to mention it.

The sooner we start rejecting their premises EVERY time they utter them the better.

Latest crap—Chik-Fil-A is anti-gay.

It isn’t, but that doesn’t stop them from saying so.

“we tried it their way and it didn’t work”...“our ideas worked, just look at Clinton”.

These politicians on our side better get their responses together.

The response should be:

Clinton? Those ideas were THE CONTRACT WITH AMERICA.

Clinton just went wobbly and signed the Republican Reforms"

Fox News - Axelrod -keeping that 2 grand or 3600 in the pocket of the middle class is what will get/keep the economy growing.

Wallace asks about Reid’s comments on Romney’s tax returns. Axelrod - he should just release them.

About sueing OH regarding extra 3 days for military to vote. Says it is shameful that Romney is making these claims. Wallace says military groups are standing with Romney in this issue, are they shameful? (Axelrod-obama is the big LOSER on this issue)

I just could not get over the Rollins character, and a couple of other GOP RINOS....also quoting Bill Crystal, who is a Democrat spy I assert, and George Will...who needs to retire, I also assert...about Romney releasing tax returns.

I’ll go out on a limb here and suggest that few Americans want to see ten years of Romney tax returns and yet, and YET, we still have silly Repubs or so-called Conservatives, imploring him to release them.

Do any of these guys have....insert vulgar comment here about between the legs?

They have GOT to be paid off. Every ounce of common sense points to it being a really dumb thing to do for Romney to release his tax returns. Though Rollins says only release for five years.

Heh.

Yet note these same RINO, traitors, paid-off GOP pretenders say NOTHING about asking Obama to release his school transcripts.

Bad enough we got RINOS everywhere but don’t tell me they aren’t being paid, some how, some way, to say that stupid stuff.

Cause nobody really wants it save the Obama campaign.

And they help the vicious Harry Reids out and such....what a bunch of pukes.

Chuck Todd is surely gunning for Gregory’s gig....and he’ll have it in the new year, imho. Not that would make a difference. NBC is a subsidiary of the govt.

Chris Wallace started a question to Axelrod with a statement that "Mitt Romney wants to EXTEND the Bush tax cuts". Does anybody know if Romney wants to extend the rates, or get a permanent rate set?

I hope he intends to act like a real leader in the White House and veto any temporary rate changes; the junior-high "let's play with rates every (x years or months)" attitude in Washington today is a big part of the anti-business environment that causes the economic slow-down.
