Two days after backers of Chick-fil-A converged on locations around the nation in support, gay rights backers plan to strike back with a decidedly different kind of activism.
Activists are planning a "National Same-Sex Kiss Day at Chick-fil-A" on Friday. As part of the event, couples are encouraged to go one of the chicken restaurant's locations and take a photo or video of themselves kissing.
It remains unclear whether this protest will generate the huge crowds that turned out Wednesday to a show of support for the company's CEO, who ignited a national debate by publicly expressing his opposition to same-sex marriage.
As of Thursday evening, a few people had posted photos on the "Kiss Day" website.
"Let's show Chick-fil-A thanks for their support of Love, Equality, and the Real Definition of Marriage! Invite your friends!" organizers said on its Facebook page.
The move comes after thousands of restaurant supporters came out to back the CEO's stance. In some cases, there were long lines at locations.

What time will the homos be out there today?
Looks like I’m eating at Chick-Fil-A again today...
I wonder how much advertising the LA Times did for the Chick-Fil-A appreciation day prior to the event occurring? I’m going to have to put a wager in as zero.
Ahh, Homos - All they want is ‘equal’ rights - equal as in ‘we get all the rights, and you get none.’ George Orwell must be looking down at this and laughing his fool head off.
Son has made the first stop for breakfast, I will get supper on the way home from work.
just got back from CFA in suburban Southeastern Pennsylvania. I did not see any attention-whoring perverts while there.
“Looks like Im eating at Chick-Fil-A again today...”
Me, too. Highway 29 in Lilburn. Just asked hubby what he wanted me to bring home since today is conference call day for him.
I’ll just wear blinders when I go today. And my “Tea Party” shirt of course!
Be sure to bring a phone cam and post any "sightings."
That's laughbable. There aren't enough homosexuals in existance to match those crowds.
“What time will the homos be out there today?”
From reports I’ve seen, the GLAAD group is saying any time, the Get Equal Group says 8 pm EST/7 Central/5 Pacific.
I’m guessing a dozen or less at most CFAs. The usual dismal counter protest by worthless socialists.
It would be funny if the union thugs had the nads to show up and protest with their bretheren butt pirates and muff divers. Naw, they’d rather stay in the closet to “protect” their image as tough guys.
Here is an interesting side issue about the CFA debacle:
I had never eaten there before. I was amazed at how good the food was and how fast and polite the service was, even in pandemonium.
I am not a fast food person, but it will be my choice on the rare occasion that I am.
I am not alone.
I think other chicken and burger places permanently lost business to CFA Wednesday.
It will, at very most, generate a few hundred nut-cases nation-wide.
The Media though will be out there, and find (or create) a scene at a Chik-fil-A with several homosexuals (probably not ugly ones either) and some of their supports. If the MSM is really lucky, they will get on film someone arguing with these homosexuals.
Then they will have their story for the evening news.

I posted one from Wednesday already on other threads. ;-)
The gay community is so Heterophobic!
Perhaps the Christians can go the same day and give each other the kiss of peace.
Maybe they should make a REAL more relevent statement and line up to commit sodomy in the bathrooms.
The LGBT activists who will go to CFA today will either ask for water, not buy anything, and/or vandalize the place.
I plan on buying a combo meal at our local CFA today...maybe even a t-shirt too.
