Forget Eric Fehrnstrom and the rest of the Mitt Romney brain trust the guy whos done the most for the GOP candidate this week is none other than Mumbles Menino.
If the mayor can brainstorm up a few more Chick-fil-As, this election will be over by Labor Day.
Menino invented Chick-fil-A, you know. Maybe Mike Huckabee came up with the idea of a National Day of Appreciation, but the media needed a bloated cartoonish clod to put it across. And when it comes to clowns, the mayor arrives straight out of Ringling Bros., Barnum & Bailey.
He came up with such a bad idea that it went around the country in less than 48 hours, from Chicago to San Francisco to even the Fox News Channel, where Shep Smith sneeringly called the Chick-fil-A turnouts National Intolerance Day.

Shep Smith is a deluxe fruit basket.
I heard Howie mention that Mumbles was driving the lead clown car.
It’s about time this country showed a little intolerance.
We tolerated Obama making our military a haven for Homosexuals, We tolerate the death rate from drunken illegals, we tolerate the murder rate in Chicago, while we tolerate Jackson and Sharpton crucifying a “white hispanic” in Florida for one death nof a minor criminal..We tolerated the Democrats shoving Obamacare down our throats, and hopefully Americans have tolerated enogh to bring them to the point where we gag at further tolerance.
The one thing we are most guilty of is tolerating a Media that no longer gives us the news they try to lead our lives.
Screw the media and all of the intolerant pricks working for it, that call US intolerant.
I’ve heard Shep is homo. He has to prove he not.
You’ve heard Shep is a homo? Have you ever seen him?
Those lines around the block and people waiting 3 hours to show support...?
Just a preview, lefties of the “enthusiasm” we’ll display on Nov 6.
I understand there are pictures of him teabagging and doing the wild thing.
Please no posting of those pictures. I just ate breakfast. lol
ooo...so instead of calling it a b!t*h-slap...we could call it a shep-slap?
“National Intolerance Day”, that was Shep’s idea, wasn’t it? Sounds gay to me.
I don’t believe anyone with the bumper sticker “I’m Straight but not Narrow” is really straight, either.
Sorta like the Chick Fil-A bully, “I’m heterosexual!!”
The faggies doth protest too much, methinks. Especially today.
I’ve been thinking the same thing myself lately. Why the hell should I be “tolerant”. Tolerate what? All the above mentioned crap? And this is suppose to be some kind of virture? I’ve decided that “tolerant” is just a code word for “spineless pu__y that too damn afraid to stand up and say that this sh_t is WRONG!!”.
So far Romney has been totally silent on the Chick-fil-A first amendment issue. He has shown no sign of support for Dan Cathy or the millions upon millions of traditional marriage supporters and free speech supporters who flocked to Chick-fil-A this week. I have not seen him with a CFA cup in his hand.
Why is that?
Could it be because he agrees with the homofascists who want to outlaw Chick fil A because they hold traditional values? Or could it be that our presumptive nominee is JUST PLAIN CHICKEN?
It’s the latter probably. He’s one boringly careful dude.
In this case, discretion is the better part of valor.
free speech however is a winning proposition no matter what a candidate’s religion
And Obama has the homosexual vote sewed up so what the hell is Romney afraid of ?
“Tolerance” is exactly that - a codeword for ‘spineless.’ I have always liked this quote from Dorothy Sayers: “In the world it is called Tolerance, but in hell it is called Despair, the sin that believes in nothing, cares for nothing, seeks to know nothing, interferes with nothing, enjoys nothing, hates nothing, finds purpose in nothing, lives for nothing, and remains alive because there is nothing for which it will die.”
Tolerance is NO virtue; it is a PC concoction rammed down We the People’s throats and embraced because we want others to think we are NICE. Having opinions that are clear and that define you - this is what makes humans all that we can be. It takes courage to stand for your beliefs, though, and conformity is remarkably inviting.
