Today is Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day, an event semi-organized by Mike Huckabee in response to the Gay Mafia's attempt to browbeat a private citizen into silence, all because he stood up for something he believed in. Mumbles Menino and Rahmbo can kiss moral America's collective butt if the response in other Chick-fil-A restaurants is even remotely similar to what I saw just a few minutes ago at our local one. The place is being overwhelmed!! I told the manager why we were here and, after thanking us, he said that there was no way he could have prepared for such a massive influx of customers. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they ran out of food today.
The drive thru wrapped around the building...twice. I went to the counter. It was all hands on deck for the staff who did an awesome job. I assume there will be some bonuses after this thing for all. Crowd was great. One man was standing on the street with a sign that read Chicken = Freedom. I was by myself, so I got it to go so the families could have a table. By the time I left, the right lane on the road was blocked for almost 1/2 mile. THis is in liberal Maryland.

Ha, no crash, but I have NEVER seen anything like this. I had to drive around the area in order to just get anywhere near the parking lot. This is in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, right in the middle of the rich liberal looneyville. When I was finally able to get into the lot they share with a grocer, I walked and stood in line outside the restaurant for about 15 minutes, then another 15 minutes or so to get my food, walked back to the car and drove home.
Unlike the liberal protests, there was no trash, there was no filthy and vulgar language, there were children there as well and nobody looked like they needed a shower.
I have hope for this November!
I’ve only lived in the Peoples Republic for a little less than 3 years but I’m sensing that people are flat out fed up with the nonsense.
I don’t know about the rest of you but.. Given how hard the employees of CFA have worked today, likely tomorrow and Friday..
I am going in mid next week after the lunch rush and buying them lunch.
They don’t have to buy CFA. I’m just going to ask the manager how many people work there and stuff 10 bucks a head in an envelope.
I trust them to spend it at the “right” restaurant. :)
When I got to the intercom and the girl asked “May I help you?” I channeled up my inner Pavarotti and sang...

Unbenonced to me, a couple folks were just outside my open car window, which gave me a start when they spoke to me...
“Wow, for that, they ought to give you two!”
When I got to the pickup window, they were out of Spicy Chicken, so I said no problem, I'll take a plain old Chicken Sandwich, and asked for a half dozen cookies, whence I learned they were all out of those I asked for a brownie. The girl said that those were out, somebody else informed her that they had some in the back. As I had already paid, I asked what I owed and she said,
“Nothing”.
Even at the end of what I'm sure was a most brutal day, my server was nothing but cheerful and upbeat.

NO those are chick-fli-a vest. When there is any kind of disaster recovery like tornado's, hurricane's etc they will go in and hand out chick-fli-a’s to all the people involved.
Not a legal beagle, but it would be cool if normal couples showed up at the same time and, in protest of the homo kissing, started smooching when the homos did to ruin the media’s coverage (you know they’ll be there for that!).
Hubby and I thought we would do just that and gross them out for a while.
