Maybe planning his revenge already?
Have no fear, Travis and Harris counties will only make the Cruz victory margin larger. This is a massive blowout!!! Great news as we head to November to dethrone hate America, dictator Obama and destroy the anti-American Democrat Party at the polls for many years to come!!!
The reporters are not fretting over the Cruz victory!!! They now know the beating, no, the drubbing that Obama will suffer in Texas and....his Democrat Party will be a shadow of its former self after November 6, 2012. You Dems had a chance to broom Obama, by forcing him to resign, but....you stuck with him and now you will pay a heavy political price, you losers and dirt bags, for trying your best to destroy this wonderful nation!!!
Be glad to represent you! I feel sorry for anyone that has to put up with NY politics! They are nutty there! LOL!
I had read that Houston went for Cruz, but maybe that was just early projections. I think he’ll finish well in first place. :)
Now, his job is to stay true to what he represents for America!
Ted Cruz WINS! Drink Hearty, Tea Party!!
My neck of the woods carried Cruz tonight as did yours! It’s a happy night and it’s great to see several of my oldtimer friends here to celebrate tonight.

Happy indeed! I don’t think I’ve EVER seen a dirtier campaign than the one Dewhurst ran. The latest with the woman claiming Cruz made her son kill himself set me into high C. Tonight is extra sweet! :)
By the time all the votes are counted, Cruz should have won by well over 60/40 of TODAY'S vote, which is the real barometer of Tea Party support.
Go to the SOS website and subtract the early vote from the total vote and then divide.
This is a national victory for the Tea Party and a huge defeat for trhe GOP establishment. No wonder Bush got Cheney to go out there and rag Palin yesterday. All the King's horse's can't put the Rockefeller wing back together now. The forces of voodoo politics now hold sway.
I agree. Dewhurst hurt himself by acting like a dirty Dem. That ad “for $500” was as slimy as they get.
Statement by Governor Perry on Texas Republican Runoff Election | Texans for Rick Perry
http://www.rickperry.org/blog/statement-...
“I congratulate Ted Cruz on a hard-fought victory and a well-executed campaign. Ted is a force to be reckoned with: an excellent candidate and a great conservative communicator. I call on all conservative Texans to rally behind Ted Cruz in November...”
Just finished my final scan of the TX SoS site for the evening ... time for napping
I’m not sure which counties represent Houston, but you could check whether Cruz won. My recollection of my scan is that Cruz won nearly every county, though.
What I noticed very sharply this final time through (and I am only eyeballing, not calculating) is that Dewhurst seems to have done relatively well getting his “early voters”. However, for county after county, the Cruz margin for voting today was remarkable. The “Get out the vote” effort for Cruz today really hammered Dewey.
G’Nite now. Don’t get too drunk down there, y’all. We all are going to have to get it together to work for victory in other states both Senate and Pres comin’ up real soon.
Do you think Perry will try to run again in 2014? Even if he does and wins, he still can’t catch up with Terry Branstad’s longevity in IA.
Hi, John! It’s a good day, my Friend!
What a slithery comment. Only "conservative Texans" eh Ricardo? Is that so that you can tell them "only a moderate can win"? Is this an announcement that GOPe is going to backstab the Republican Party nominee? Again?
With the size of this victory margin in such an upset against a lt.gov. their attacks on the Cruz campaign methods are transparently ridiculous even to the indifferent portion of the audience of watchers and readers.
I hope he will. People gripe, but he’s been good for Texas. Our economy is terrific and he had to have helped with that! :)
