“First Lady Michelle Obama steps out in Lanvin sneakers and theyre only $540!”
I have never in my life paid more than $30 for a pair of shoes, including steel toed boots. I keep all shoes and boots for multiple years, even decades.
There is one exception to this. I love my sandals, and I have never found a pair that is worth a cr** for less than 80 bucks. I wear them everywhere all the time, and for years and years and years. They are worth the price as they must be able to handle walking in the desert, over all terrain, in all conditions, from rocks to through oceans, lakes, and rivers, even snow, and be able to climb over rough terrain without slipping, tearing, or falling off.
And I’m not “cheap” with shoes because I can’t afford more expensive ones. I just don’t pay for “names”, and “hype”.
