Do you have studies you can cite to support your post?

FYI: Both my cardiologist and my dietician advocate cutting all fats for heart health. As for starches, even with diabetes, I can still have some carbs — just don’t overdo.

Please understand — I don’t want to get into an argument, but I have to be wary of health claims. There is an amazing amount of junk science out there and adhering to it could be fatal for me. So if you can give me links to some studies, I will ask the professionals about them.

My favorite item (and I like the traditional fried chicken sandwich) — is the diet lemonade. It tastes very fresh, like it’s just been squeezed, and doesn’t have diet taste at all.

I’m with you on the gift cards. Think about how nice it would be for some high-school students to have them, when they want to ask a friend to lunch? Or, college kids who would appreciate how fresh their food tastes compared to everything else they’re getting. I went online, and you can’t get the cards online, but I’ll be at my local CRA Wednesday, anyway. I even bought a Deluxe yesterday in Asheville!

Chick Fil A has some dynamite salads (including a fruit cup) with an assortment of dressings.

I am something of a foodie, and I can taste cheap unhealthy ingredients. One of the reasons I've always gone to CFA is that I trust the food. It's not necessarily low-calorie, but it is wholesome.

Something I used to LOVE about Chick Fil A years ago when my kids were small--was when they changed out their children's toys. I was always alert for what they had that was new with their children's dinners.

For instance, while every other fast food "happy meal" had cheap and vulgar plastic toys, Chick Fil A would have a little story book with every children's meal. Or something as appealing to a child--never vulgar junk.

Dear Houeto:

Do you know that Chick Fil A was instrumental in the building up of one of our Tea Party Favorite Congressmen in DC?

It's Tim Scott, who was shepherded by the manager of the CFA Scott was working at when Scott was a youngster and about to slip off the straight and narrow, getting into trouble, etc. He was mentored and helped by the 'values' that the filthy-minded and dirty-mouthed Rahm Emmanuel rejects.

Well, I guess we all know what to expect when Rahm's kids grow up.

Tim Scott was a Tea Party fave elected in 2010. He represents the Charleston South Carolina area , DISTRICT NUMBER ONE.

Oh, and Tim just happens to be black.

Everybody who is celebrating Chick Fil A ought to also be proud of Tim Scott.

I saddled uop the Harley for another trip to Chick-Fil-A, and then I remembered that they are closed on Sunday! So I went for a nice ride anyway, and went home for lunch.

Also, the values that Rahm Emmanuel of the potty-mouthed and tutu-clad won't have in his cesspool of a city!!

I have an assortment of health problems, which means I have to be picky about what and where I eat. I have found CFA’s menu to be best for me. Sure, I can get grilled chicken at other fast food restaurants, but the calories, fat, sodium, etc. are not compatible with my particular eating plan. Even Subway, with its 6 grams or less of fat, has way too much sodium for me. And I have no idea what McDonalds does to its grilled chicken sandwiches and salads, but I swear they use too much fat and the fat they cook with is rancid. Yuk!

What really sets CFA apart from the other fast food restaurants is the customer service. The employees are friendly and helpful, unlike, say, McDonalds, where the employees spend too much time talking with each other, get your order wrong and sometimes just throw your order at you without even a sliver of basic courtesy.

I don't eat out often, but when I do, CFA is my go-to restaurant.

Thanks for ping Mamzelle. Bump to Tim Scott, a true conservative. I don’t know who manages his ping list.

After that photo, I’d like to say Todd Palin; however, since he’s unavailable, I’ll have a Spicy Chicken Sandwich and peach shake. Thanks a lot.

I'll put an up-to-date accurate count later, possibly even tomorrow but rest assured that we still have plenty of room for more 'CFA favorite' posts.

It doesn't any easier to donate to the Freepathon than this people!

Thanks again Tijeras_Slim !!!
