My It-Is-Probably-A-Hoax-o-Meter went off when I read in the original thread that ‘she’ claimed the house was ‘doused’ with gasoline, yet the resulting fire only did $200.00 worth of damage.

$200 worth of damage in this day could be done by just knocking out a screen on a screen door or breaking a window or getting a coffee stain on the carpet.

If the house were doused with gasoline, the fire would have been substantial.
