You would be wrong on that, depending on the state people convicted of public urination are added to the sex offenders list because they exposed themselves while urinating (men only of coarse). These lists are horrible because they do not differentiate between those that you really do need to watch out for and someone that didn’t really do anything all that bad, like statutory rape which you see happen all the time with some 18 year old kid getting convicted of having sex with his 16 year old girl friend. Do you need to worry about him when he’s 35 and married? I don’t think so and don’t think someone like that should be on any sort of list. But we as a society have lost all sense of proportion as evidenced by this whole thread.
