Tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. in Indianapolis, the NCAA will reportedly announce how it intends to punish Penn State following its handling of the the Jerry Sandusky scandal. The penalties have been termed "unprecedented" and will be leveled at both the school itself and the football program.
According to Armen Keteyian, a source had "never seen anything like it."
Things are happening quickly, now.
The NCAA is there to provide for fairness, not criminality...
...please cite where that is stipulated in the NCAA rule book...

It seems he didn't have mush work to do
I wonder if that is in part why this was allowed to go on and on?

“the most gay friendly campus in the nation”

..., thanks for the eye opening report...and, re your tagline, I always wash my hands before leaving the restroom...
You and I both know these sanctions will cost all of PSU more than fun and games for football players and fans, it is a big loss of revenue (that benefitted ALL programs and scholarships) and big loss of opportunity for many athlete-students
The faculty and students and football players at PSU did not do wrong. A cabal of MEN on the faculty and administration did wrong and those MEN should be punished. Will the PSU president and other adminstrators who failed everyone lose their pensions? How about the cops who failed to follow up? How about the smarmy grifters who ran “Second Mile” as a charity?
Unlikely
But everyone is too “PC” to really asign blame and correction. So you punish a “school”. Let the beatings commence until morale is restored.
The other issue that has been forgotten and swept under the filthy degenerate carpet, was that Sandusky and his fellow deviants, passed these young boys around the gay community for multiple rapings. This is a common practice in hollywood and lots of other “gay” communities.
According to Drudge, no Death Penalty. I know the next school that gets put on 2 year probation for a couple $100 handshakes should screech to high heaven.
perhaps they should be looking for a new president

Sandusky Blitz was described as a "banana-flavored ice cream with chocolate-covered peanuts and caramel swirl."
BOL! Apparently they decided not to wait until Monday. The statue has been removed!
Adios Joe.
You are absolutely right. This is what we should be concerned about. The homosexual network that supported and enabled Sandusky has been ignored. Instead people are focusing on punishing innocent people who had absolutely nothing to do with Sandusky.
The photos of two scoops of ice cream with a suggestive upended cone were an internet hoax. That was never served at the Penn State creamery.
It is true that the creamery served a flavor called the "Sandusky Blitz."

I know, the anger is misplaced. The punishment will do more to harm real young man, not homos, who seek to play football. They had nothing to do with, nor did they condone, Sandusky’s same-sex raping of boys. The gay community would be a far more appropriate target since this is the biggest part of their lifestyle still hiding in the closet.
Southern Miss has far more players in the NFL than Penn State.
thanks for posting this!
I miss teaberry ice cream!
and vanilla phosphates at the Hub
Penn State football in October
parties at Sigma Chi and the Pink Elephant
pinning circles
woodsies
and panty raids
funny I dont miss any of my classes or professors

...I know you’re trying hard, but you’re only making your case weaker...you and I both know that the issue here is non-compliance with a morally responsible code of ethics that resulted from the fear of losing that very stream of revenue that you just cited in the first place...in other words, malfeasence was committed in the name of revenue protection, remuneration for that malfeasence must result in loss of the object spurring its commission...
admittedly men like Paterno looked the other way for “the greater good” of a program that brought a lot of good to a lot of peopel and programs
So now, you are agreeing with the NCAA to punish the entire greater good. Burn the witches and burn the townspeople too
It is your “case” that is weak
PA taxpayers will make up the difference in money to the university, talented footplayers who are not aged-out will go to other schools, and aside from Sandusky, the homos and their protectors will live on lux pensions for life
All’s well than ends badly.
Revenge will be sweet, but “justice” that prevents child rape by the powerful and well-connected from being ignored? An illusion.
