His behavior doesn't add up
His behavior already reveals stark inconsistencies that question the mainstream explanation of events. For example, he opened fire on innocent people but then calmly surrendered to police without resistance. This is not consistent with the idea of "killing everyone."
Furthermore, he then admitted to police that his apartment was booby-trapped with explosives. If you were really an evil-minded Joker trying to kill people (including cops), why would you warn them about the booby trap in advance? It doesn't add up.
"Holmes was taken into custody shortly after the shooting, police said, adding he didn't resist when he was arrested," reports a local CBS news affiliate.
"After his arrest, Holmes told police about 'possible explosives in his residence,' Oates said. When police searched his apartment, they discovered it was booby-trapped and evacuated surrounding buildings, police said. Oates said bomb technicians are determining how to disarm flammable or explosive material in the third-floor apartment. He said police could be there some time."
None of this checks out. If you're a killer bent on causing mayhem, why tell the police about your surprise bomb waiting for them back at your apartment?
Holmes was clearly provided with exotic gear...

2 points:
a. It could be a mask to target one individual in a crowd but kill the crowd to hide it.
b. If cops would get out of their cars and walk their beats with bomb sniffing dogs they would have heard the loud music and the K9 react and investigated.
Here we forced the police to get out of their cars and walk around the streets so they know what the h is going on.
They have 8 sniffers here but they try to keep them in the cars all the time which is really stupoid.
Congrats, you’ve lowered yourself to the level of Ron Paul supporter...

The state law v. federal law question only came up as an issue in this thread because someone else (with limited understanding of the U.S. Constitution, perhaps) had suggested that Obama would pardon Holmes. Your follow-on suggestion that the Governor of Colorado would "turn over" Holmes to the feds, upon request, only made sense to me in that context. As it is, I can't imagine there's even a hint of a possibility that anything other than state murder and other charges would be brought against Holmes.
But, hey, maybe Obama could, you know, issue one of them Executive Orders with which he can apparently do anything, and unilaterally invalidate the Colorado criminal code, so that Holmes has to be charged with federal crimes, or not at all.
As I said, sheesh.
I heard a report (I have no idea hopw accurate it is) that he was recognized from the "occupy denver" group.
Which means that he is not a conservative/ tea party member, but one of the libtards.
Once I again I don't know how accurate that is, I saw it on one of the Fre Republic threads about the idiot Brian Ross from ABC.

His Father is there. His Mother knew he went off and might take people with him.Mother is just my guess.
“10 - 20 thousand dollars “
Where did you get that figure? The guns and ammo he used can be had for under $2,000 total.
A federal research grant will buy a lot of guns and ammo . . .
Nailed it.
Nevermind. I just read the article that claims he spent at least $15,000. I guess I am in the “What the Hell?” camp now, too.
I dont believe this POS is insane..I heard last night after he shot Jessica Ghawi in the leg, she yelled out “Ive been shot” realizing that she was still alive, he went back to her and shot her again in the head to make sure she was dead, that’s not the work of some crazed maniac who hears voices in his head, that’s the work of pure EVIL.
There are WAY WAY too many questions in this case...and given the current state of the “media”...there is no chance in hell we will hear, or ever know what the hell happened...but this thing stinks to high heaven!
In addition to Kevlar body armor, other tac gear, gas mask, teargas cannisters ... $20k is overkill but you’re lowballing it pretty badly. He paid retail at Gander Mountain for some, others ordered online. He spent more than $5k easily.
take a breath. repeat, my booty belongs to me, you can not have my booty
With over 6000 5.56 rounds? 3000 for the Glocks and 1000 shotgun shells? Where are you buying ammo?
I hasten to add....Schizophrenia is the “EASY” answer.....
There is way way more to this issue than one graduate student going rogue....he may be an idiot savant, but even given that...there are WAY too many inconsistencies in the “story” and far too much “leading” by the media and powers that be..............
I may be wrong, but I do not believe this guy acted alone...not for ONE moment!
Apparently more than her as there was just story hit that if it had gone off, it could have destroyed the complex combined with the explosion and subsequent fires.
I think he had bigger plans and the death toll would have been much greater had his conscience not awakened. Waaay late but I think it did. He was/is smart and had a huge and complex plan for a massive death toll, just look at the amount of ammo he purchased. His good kid side just caught up to him to late and didn't save him from the dark side. He is a sick kid that should never see the light of day again but I just can't read him as always and forever evil. He flipped a switch somewhere along the way in his college years. His youth and habits led there but he is truly, as I see it and from what we know at this point--he a good kid that just flipped the F out in the most unimaginable and horrific way. For this guy, I think the death penalty would be his easiest way out. Living with this will eat him alive.
