I don't buy ammo but I would think even on the Internet
there would be some sort of register that the dealers would have to keep and if they sold so much to one person or
a certain dollar amount it would be reported to someone.
In California you can only buy so much cough syrup per month
they have a data base on that. I feel like someone was helping this guy and I mean someone higher up the food chain.

I don't miss California a bit even after being born, raised and living there for 40 years.
Don't know about Colorado laws though.

I read a while ago (I think it was before the '08 elections) that in Alaska people were buying ammo by the pallet load straight off the freight docks.
