Even in the 19th century or early 20th century, when they were much more expeditious about hanging criminals, it took more than 24 hours to have a trial, verdict, and sentence.

More likely he will spend the rest of his days in prison. Maybe he can earn his Ph.D. through online courses.

Assuming he is registered to vote, I would guess he would be allowed to vote in November...since the trial won't have taken place by then.

I was providing someone with an english grammar lesson on the correct usage of the word “hang” when used to delineate a human being hanged by the neck versus anything else hanging.
