Democrats pressed their attack Sunday on Mitt Romneys record as head of the investment firm Bain Capital in the 1990s.
Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., the Senate majority whip, asked on NBCs Meet the Press, Why is Mitt Romney running away from his company, Bain Capital, like a scalded cat? Because theres abundant evidence that under Bain Capital they were exporting American jobs to low-wage countries and he doesnt want to be associated with it.
Defending Romneys record at Bain Capital, Romney campaign advisor Ed Gillespie told NBCs David Gregory that outsourcing U.S. companies setting up foreign operations to replace operations in the United States was due partly to President Barack Obamas policies of imposing excessive regulations and maintaining a high corporate tax rate.
Gillespie charged that Obamas policies are forcing jobs overseas.
Gillespie contended that some of the money in the $830 billion stimulus program which Obama signed into law in 2009 was channeled into companies and jobs in China, Finland, Mexico, and Denmark, instead of in the United States.
At the same time, Gillespie did not condemn outsourcing in every instance. He said that Romney believes that American companies should be free we have a free economy -- to make decisions that are in the interests of their shareholders, and what we need to do is make those decisions more attractive to invest here in the United States, rather than making it more attractive to go overseas, which is what the Obama policies do.
The Obama campaign has spent the past few days accusing Romney of lying after the Boston Globe reported that hed retained the title of chief executive and chairman of Bain Capital until 2002, three years beyond the date he said he ceded control.

The first reason to elect Romney is because he isn't Obama. Obama's destroying the country, ignoring the law, ignoring the constitution, and ignoring the courts. He's also doing everything he can to turn this country into a socialist society. He's also a pathological liar. His mentors have all been American hating nuts.
The Romney-Bain lie perpetrated by this administration is despicable. Obama can't run on his record because his record is the terrible. His target for these lies are those who only started being able to vote in the last 5 years. If you were alive in this country in 1999 -2002 then you know that Romney turned the disaster that was the Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Games around and made them very successful. And he did this without taking a salary!
If you hate this country and believe that you are too stupid to take care of yourself, then by all means, vote for Obama. If you want to live somewhere other than the Soviet Union or Cuba then vote for Romney and the Republicans. They ain't perfect, but they aren't the disaster that Obama and the Democrats have heaped on this country.

If this is all they’ve got, they’re toast.

I wouldn’t know. I’ve never been to a cat scalding party. Maybe DickieD would invite me to one of his.

Romney doesn't want to take responsibility for Bain's conduct after 1999. Some people think that's because Romney doesn't want to take responsibility for some "outsourcing" that took place during those years. I don't think Romney is running away from "outsourcing." There isn't anything wrong or even offensive about "outsourcing" when the situation calls for it.
Actually, I think Romney is concerned about Bain's involvement (during those same years) in Stericycle and the trafficking in fetuses. Trafficking in fetuses is wrong and, now that he claims to be pro-life, he should run from that.

Bam-Bam's thugs ran an "anti-R0mney" ad on FOX-5 DC last night highlighting that R0mney wants to de-fund Planned Barrenhood and overturn Roe v. Wade.
Sounds too good to be true ... I wish I could believe it.

It’s Obama who is running, running from his record. What else can the commies do? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more desperate campaign. I think the Kenyan knows he’s going to lose and hopefully he takes a bunch of Democrats down with him.

Bam-Bam's thugs ran an "anti-R0mney" ad on FOX-5 DC last night highlighting that R0mney wants to de-fund Planned Barrenhood and overturn Roe v. Wade. Usually that is an indication they're desperate. The first campaign to broach the abortion subject tends to be on the losing end. Let's hope.

I think the Kenyan knows hes going to lose and hopefully he takes a bunch of Democrats down with him. In West Virginia, Sen. Joe Manchin, Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin, and Rep. Nick Rahall are all running "away" from The Kenyan Kommunist Klown just as fast as their nasty little 'rat legs will carry them.
I hope they all lose anyway.

if true they would have found some way to spin the CBS/NYT Poll to show Obama ahead.

DO you think the dems would be ecstatic to have a candidate like this? :
A guy who is.. 1. Drop-dead, collar-ad handsome with gracious, statesmanlike aura. Looks like every central casting's #1 choice for Commander-in-Chief.
2. One who has been married to ONE woman his entire life, and has been faithful to her, including through her bouts with breast cancer and MS.
3. A guy who with no scandals or skeletons in his closet. (How boring is that?)
4. One who can't speak in a fake, southern, "black preacher voice" when necessary.
5. A Highly intelligent man. Who graduated cum laude from both Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School...and by the way, one whose academic records are NOT sealed.
6. One who oesn't smoke or drink alcohol, and has never done drugs, not even in the counter-culture age when he went to college. Too square for today's America?
7. A man who represents an America of "yesterday", where people believed in God, went to Church, didn't screw around, worked hard, and became a SUCCESS!
8. A gentleman who haas a family of five great sons....and none of them have police records or are in drug rehab. All of whom were raised by a stay-at-home mom.
9. Oh yes.....and he's a MORMON. We need to be very afraid of that very strange religion that teaches its members to be clean-living, patriotic, fiscally conservative, charitable, self-reliant, and honest.
10. And one more point.....it is said that because of his wealth, he can't relate to ordinary Americans. I guess that's because he made that money HIMSELF.....as opposed to marrying it or inheriting it from Dad. Apparently, he didn't understand that actually working at a job and earning your own money made you unrelatable to Americans.
THE TWO GIANT BRAINS BELOW AGREE WITH ME .... LOOKS LIKE I'M IN GOOD COMPANY....

Durbin has always been a few fries short of a happy meal.
Frankly, I’m surprised they’re trotting the retard out into the public arena. Talking points delivered by him are even less compelling than talking points delivered by Plugs Biden.
