At the conclusion of a press conference led by Cold Case Posse chief investigator Michael Zullo that detailed the reasons the long-form birth certificate of President Barack Obama is a forgery, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said he it's time for a higher authority to investigate the issue.
Arpaio said he would like Congress ... "someone" ... to look at the material his investigative team had gathered. As he had told WND earlier: “Although I am having a difficult time deciding who to forward this information to given the fact that the obvious choices report directly to the president, I cannot stand by and hold on to information that threatens to weaken national security.”

Exactly. The evidence Arpaio presented today was the smoking gun.....irrefutable evidence the BC is a forgery, or at least has been significantly altered.
Up until today I was willing give bambi the benefit of the doubt but I now believe he was not born in Hawaii. Zullo and Arpaio obviously don’t either. They know bambi is an inelegible fraud and they want something done about it. But I agree with some of the other posters, the wimpering castrati we call congress will do nothing.
Since the Mormons possess the most complete data registry of birth records in the world, do you think they may have collected HI records before anyone knew who BHO was?
Wouldn’t it be funny if Romney handed BHO a true and correct copy of BHO’s family tree right before a debate?

The good sheriff will be ignored by the Congress and every other politician of consequence.Republicans are made especially uneasy by this subject because they do not want to upset the Democrats. They fear the kenyan will not include them in the Government that is in the offing, the Totalitariat which organization Republicans fear but do not oppose.
Assuming there is valid and irrefutable evidence that a sitting POTUS has committed forgery and lied about his citizenship, if nothing is done then this sets a precedent for future non-citizen candidates being allowed to hold the office of the Presidency. Especially if the congress is given solid evidence and does not act on it.

You think so, and so do I. But the general public is not impressed. It's a shame, but much stronger evidence will be needed before Congress moves on this issue.
It's not enough for a couple of experts to say that the birth certificate was forged. That should be enough to start an investigation, but in this case it isn't.
Sheriff Joe will have to find the person who forged the documents. Or get a copy of Obama's college records, which might list his real birth place. Or something else as powerful.
Damn right, and Zero claimed this “second” birth certificate. The “first one was proven fraud by the time it was out, so Zero stayed away from it. But he claimed this one as the “real Mc Coy” to get Trump off his back. He is directly responsible for the forgery.

Holder is painfully aware of Arpaio and what he has found. You can bet your last cent that Holder is sitting squarely atop the AZ FBI office and has threatened every person there with severe reprisal if they so much as take a phone call from Arpaio or his Posse...

Having read all the comments about Congress’ lack of motivation to do anything, I propose a theory:
The short answer is - Obama will throw the election (does anyone really think he’s putting a lot of effort in this race, or is it just a bunch of fund raising), but keep his pension, keep all the money in his coffers, and enjoy all the other trappings of being “President” (as he will be called by tradition).
That he gets to make messes like a petulant child on the way out is just a boost to his otherwise eggshell ego.

The question of whether or not Obama was born on US soil is a separate (and valid) question from the dubious issue of "natural born citizen".
