Finny, if I may.

The idea that the strategy to “deprive whichever evil wins of a popular mandate” might be wonderful fantasy, but in reality a One Vote Win by Obama will be treated as a Popular Mandate.

I envy your innocence on this point, but Obama will never suffer from the lack of a Mandate. That situation is only applicable to Republicans. Remember Florida 2000?

The Communists, Democrats, Liberal and Progressives have never forgiven Bush for pulling out that win, and they made sure to destroy him with the help of their Pravda inspired Media friends for twelve years running.

I have made this point before, just as I made the point that another four Years of Obama will not magically promote a Conservative avalanche of support in 2016. If we couldn't get a Conservative Candidate this time around after the mess that is Obama, it will never happen. The damage that will result in another Obama Term will be beyond comprehension.

The really bizarre thing about Obama is no matter how bad he is he can still count on around 50% of the popular vote. He has garnered that constituency by siezing authority (and money) from the other, non-supportive half and distributing it to the supportive half.

And he did it by bending & breaking the rules.

One more term of vote buying and I believe there really will be no turning back, ever.

Let conservatives in blue states make the statement by voting Constitution Party or writing in Palin. But a split vote in swing states is Obama's fondest wish.

I envy your innocence on this point ...

Really? Are you sure that it's my "innocence" that you envy? Or perhaps some other qualities that you lack?

You've made up your mind to roll over, which makes your screen name a sad joke. You reflexively spin negative and forecast negative on every argument that supports rejecting Romney and braving the consequences, and you insist that the only cure is to knowingly vote FOR a depraved agent of liberal tyranny -- and you say I'm the one indulging in fantasy.

You continue the drumbeat of hysteria, though you couch in in calm-sounding language; it's still hysteria.

Yes, you've made your points before, and they're just as bereft now as they were the first time you made them.

Well put! Do they think Obama had a "mandate" for Obamacare? Of course not! Do these people think Obama the tyrant is going to give a crap about his lack of a mandate? He will simply declare his mandate on anything he wants. Wake up!

“If we couldn’t get a Conservative Candidate this time around after the mess that is Obama, it will never happen.”

You are correct. I’m prepared to take care of my life needs no matter what happens. That is control I can have. Whatever happens to the country is in God’s hands. Due to my Christian belief, I can’t vote for Romney but I’m in Texas and he will get Texas, just not with my vote.
