I have to wonder if all the Romney haters on this site were the same people who ran home to mom when they lost at games as kids. I did not vote for Romney in the primaries. If you asked anyone that knows me, they would say I am right of Reagan. What I don't understand is all of you that love this country, which I truly believe you do, that are willing to not vote for Romney and potentially allow this country to fail by re-electing Obama!, how does that make sense?
Great! Thanks very much!
Best wishes and God bless and keep you.

>> it’s literally the only option open for me as I refuse to vote for Romney because to do so would be to vote against my own interests both morally and politically.
I understand, Finny. I’m in no way questioning what’s in your heart.
I’m simply curious about the expectations of the passive vote. You make interesting points, and I would expect others to fall in line behind you.
>> I believe our system is enough still intact that indeed, a plurality lack-of-mandate for the president matters no matter WHO it involves.
I hope you’re right.
"Work sets you free" sounds pretty good on it's face I suppose, and then you learn the history of the phrase...
Thanks so much for such a civil exchange. :^)
Yeah, nobody knows who that is. He will never win.
Indeed, but you don’t tug on Superman’s cape.
LOL! Stop that at once! [giggles]
I thought he might be a retread after reading his history, and “sock puppet” did not occur to me, but I suppose you have proven that he was.
Gee, I liked that other FReeper, too. Oops.
Would America be better off right now if awful, completely non-Conservative McQueeg had beaten the marxist quisling in ‘08?
Depends upon how long he might have lived, post-election.
An actual conservative would have been next in line, power-wise, after all.
Great post! Progressive thinking within the GOP MUST FAIL!
“I am confident things will work out as well. That is why Obama does not scare me as he scares ABOs. In the end, I know who is in control and though we may go through some very dark times, the Lord will see us through them all.”
Well-said! Knowing God is in control allows us to vote for whomever we please. In the words of Jesus Himself: “not My will, but Yours...”
An Obama supporter would want to cause despair among real conservatives. What better way to do that than to promote a radical liberal as their only choice. It would suppress the vote and re-elect the incumbent.
In my estimation, it is a very real possibility that the Karl Rove’s of the world are actually hoping for a 2nd Obama administration.
Thank you! :^)
Kent,
It is great to see you back and actively posting at FreeRepublic.
Keep up the good work!
Since you state that
1. I can’t choose “neither” and
2. since I agree with you that no 3rd party candidate stands a chance and
3. since I know how Obama acted as president and
4. since Romney is not the same person as Obama and
5. since I believe Romney will be the Republican nomination
I am FORCED to prefer Romney.
I am fairly certain I will vote for him as well because I know someone personally who is voting for Obama and I want to cancel out their vote :)
