I have to wonder if all the Romney haters on this site were the same people who ran home to mom when they lost at games as kids. I did not vote for Romney in the primaries. If you asked anyone that knows me, they would say I am right of Reagan. What I don't understand is all of you that love this country, which I truly believe you do, that are willing to not vote for Romney and potentially allow this country to fail by re-electing Obama!, how does that make sense?
No abortion. Pro gun. Small government.
How hard is that? Don’t kill babies.... let me have my firearms... keep government small?
GOP-e doesn’t have a frigging clue.
********************
They do understand, but they are fakes. The GOP is to conservatives what Vidkun Quisling was to Norwegian national defense. The GOP is the enemy within; the hole in the bucket; the embezzler in accounting. They have been this way since January 20, 1989, and feel that they no longer even have to pretend otherwise.
I for one do not believe that the Republic is impervious to ultimate decline. Great nations decline BY THE WILL OF ITS’ PEOPLE! To willingly chose to allow another Obama term is a CHOICE to decline QUICKLY.
I am certain I do not agree with Romney on everything. I would loved to have Santorum or Gingrich in this race, but Romney took the primaries. As the only hope for turning out Obama I will vote for him enthusiastically.
I understand that some people are adamant against voting for Romney, OK, Fine! Simply vote against Obama and think how wonderful it will be to see him cry for the rest of his life about how that mean George Bush made him a one term president. Hell, that beautiful image is worth more than a vote, it is priceless. The alternative is to horrific to consider.
You are projecting.
I'm saddened that a conservative isn't likely to win the highest office in a nation that I seriously believed has outlived it's usefulness.
I'm not raging about it. You are.

I am pulling a "holder" and retracting my first reply.
Goodnight.
Having a crazed mob making my decision may instead prompt me to walk away from said mob.
And the Romney supporters are indeed becoming a mob. Leaders of our country are not elected by a mob mentality, if an election process demands thuggery to gain votes the the election process is corrupted and should be reviewed, if necessary allowed to make changes.
I for one have a feeling that the GOP election process is as corrupt as the democratic one and would sincerely welcome a rebellion, even if it creates a fracture of America. And I would immediately support Sarah Palin for the states refusing to accept Obama and Romney.
Its called “We the People” unless its being re-written.
We the people have a choice, we can vote for what feels right to us, not what feels right for the elites.
Free Republic is not a republican website. It is a conservative website.
Me either.
Especially that taking money at gunpoint to pay for killing babies thing.

>> Sometimes, brother, there is no good option, and you just have to live through whatever happens.
If one is not willing to make a decision, is it fair to criticize others who are? But if the criticism is justified, then why not influence the outcome in defense of one’s argument?
” Want to dissect what really makes an idiot....”
Nope, you did a thorough enough job of it for me.
Cheers
I will NOT vote for a pro-abortion, anti-gun, socialized medicine, big government liberal.
Either one of them.

So let me get this strait, your guy didn’t win the primary (neither did mine), so it must be because the process is corrupt? OK, so please show us the corruption in the states where Romney won the primaries? {{{crickets}}}
This denial of reality is breathtaking.
>> Albert Einstein once said The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different result.
Yet success is often the result of an endless effort that at times deviates only by the slightest degree.
That’s what the “global warming” hot air cult is hoping for.
They have a saying about approaching a mule.
I for one always vote for the better outcome, I am certain that perfection is unattainable on this side, we are all flawed, we are all imperfect. Obama is however, I believe, straight up evil and dangerous. I can not abide that. I can not vote for that by default.
No, you'll be voting for Romney. Voting "against" Obama is sophistry, sad to say, but it's true.
A vote can only ever be FOR something. You can't even vote "against" a proposition -- you either vote FOR passing it, or you vote FOR nixing it.
You can only vote "against" by voting FOR something to take its place. Rest assured -- you will be voting FOR Romney.
I'll be voting FOR a plurality to help deny a mandate to whichever bastard wins. I'll be voting third party: every third party vote cast will work toward denying a popular mandate for whichever authoritarian statist wins, Obama or Romney.
