And with each post you continue to illustrate the fact that you are on the Obama re-election committee.

Professor Schweikart, I will say this once again:

STOP YOUR DAMN LYING!!!

And I will answer your unsolicited and unwelcome private FReepmail right here:

You opined that if Romney was elected, that the chance of a 'free election' in 2016 was greater than if 0bama is re-elected. First of all, that remains to be seen. The greater question that you have overlooked is whether or not there is going to even BE an election this fall in November. Signs may point to 'yes' right now, but a lot can happen in 3 months.

IF Romney is elected, there will be no conservative elected in 2016 because that would require that Romney be denied renomination by the GOP 4 years from now, and you're enough of a student of history to understand that such an event has only taken place ONCE, and that was when President Chester Arthur was replaced with James G. Blaine on the Republican ticket in 1884. If Romney is elected in November, we will have EIGHT YEARS of a lying liberal from Massachusetts in the White House, and nothing you or anyone else can do is going to prevent that because Romney's election would be a validation of the GOP elite, conservatives would be out in the wilderness for at least as long as Moses was wandering around with the Israelites, and the continued merging of the 'Rat and RINO Parties will continue unabated.

You advance not from an ideological belief in conservatism, but from a fear of "what if", 'what if' 0bama cancels elections, 'what if' 0bama declares martial law, 0bama is living in your head rent free Larry, and when he craps, you run for the toilet paper. That's sad Larry, sad.

Conservatives may or may not vote for Romney, but if they choose not to support the left-liberal former Governor from Assachusetts, that does not mean they are no longer conservatives, it means they have exercised their God-given right to vote for the candidate of their choice, and for many of them, that will not be Romney, and our Founder Jim Robinson will be among them. Do you think he is part of the '0bama re-election committee'? Man up and tell us one way or the other.

Now you've got a real nice gig going with your books, your TV appearances, your speeches and talks, and God love ya, that's your American dream you're living and I don't begrudge you one bit of it. But don't think for one minute that your commercial success and name recognition means that you can look down your nose at us lesser mortals on FR, and slur and slander us, and call us everything except a white man, because we don't jump on board that Romney bandwagon with you. You Sir, do not have that right, and I don't give a tinker's damn if you signed up in 1998, or if you're FReeper #2 right behind JimRob, because your seniority doesn't count for squat, not when I observe your wretched behavior towards good and decent FReepers who choose NOT to ask "how high" when the GOP-e shouts "JUMP!".

In your private message, you started off with an arrogant salutation of "asking one question" (and then proceeded to ask THREE questions, lol) after which you would be 'done' with any further exchanges with me. Now here is a newsflash for ya Larry, you may be able to exercise enough self-control to not respond to my posts in various threads, but don't think that when you start up with your bloviating on behalf of the Romney election campaign, that I'm not going to call you out for what it is, promotion of the left-liberal GOP-elite candidate who IS NOT A CONSERVATIVE nor even CLOSE.

For now, we're done Professor. And don't privately FReepmail me again, anything you have to say to me you can say right out here in the open threads.

Now here is your official invite, so enjoy the buffet:

You really really need to read the US Constitution!
We don't have a National Election, we have 50 state elections which aggregated together make a national election. Are all 50 governors going to agree to suspend their state elections? Which I doubt they even have the state constitutional authority to do! There might be some Rat Guvs that will try or at leat talk about it. Beverly Perdue of North Carolina speculated about it, “Boy did that work well for her! It cemented her glaring stupidity in the minds of North Carolinians!”. Given the abuse she took I doubt even if the most Zero loving Rat Guv would try that again! Such a unconstitutional act both for federal and respective states constitutions would destroy the credibility and careers of all those local, and state career politicians. None would agree to do that! We had both the off-year and the federal election in the midst of the Civil War. We had elections during the Great Depression & World War II.
