“...The greater question that you have overlooked is whether or not there is going to even BE an election this fall in November. Signs may point to ‘yes’ right now, but a lot can happen in 3 months......”

You really really need to read the US Constitution!
We don't have a National Election, we have 50 state elections which aggregated together make a national election. Are all 50 governors going to agree to suspend their state elections? Which I doubt they even have the state constitutional authority to do! There might be some Rat Guvs that will try or at leat talk about it. Beverly Perdue of North Carolina speculated about it, “Boy did that work well for her! It cemented her glaring stupidity in the minds of North Carolinians!”. Given the abuse she took I doubt even if the most Zero loving Rat Guv would try that again! Such a unconstitutional act both for federal and respective states constitutions would destroy the credibility and careers of all those local, and state career politicians. None would agree to do that! We had both the off-year and the federal election in the midst of the Civil War. We had elections during the Great Depression & World War II.

Nobody has to remind me that we 50 individual state elections my FRiend, however if a state of national emergency is declared and martial law imposed, I'm here to tell you that it won't matter one way or the other when the Department of Homeland Security thugs and goons take over and occupy every state capitol and county seat if necessary to assert federal control.

As for chiding me to "read the US Constitution", don't pretend to school me sonny boy, I've read it many times and more importantly, our enemies in Washington have read it as well, and they have learned that if they ignore it, shred it, use it for the proverbial toilet paper, that there isn't any gumption among the population to do much if anything about it.

What happened during the Great Depression and World War II so far as elections are concerned mean nothing now. 'That was then, this is now'.
