"I think that Condoleezza Rice would be a wonderful vice president and she certainly has much more experience than our sitting president," former Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) said when asked for her reaction to news that Rice is near the top of Romney's list for VP.
Palin is asked by host of "On the Record" Greta van Susteren what she thought about Rice being "moderately pro-choice."
Palin tells host of "On the Record" Greta van Susteren that she would prefer a pro-life vice presidential candidate, however she says ultimately the power to legislate abortion does not lie with the vice president.

Palin: Condi Rice "Would Be A Wonderful Vice President"Ping. Maybe it's just me. But since I haven't seen you comment on this thread yet, I'm very curious to hear your reaction to this.

“the VP is a rather powerless position”
I believe the common expression about the power of the VPOTUS is “not worth a bucket of warm spit”.
There was a hotel fire at the Willard in D.C. - a man tried to make his way past the firefighter barrier (it was Calvin Coolidge and he lived there) by saying
“I am the Vice President”.
At first the firefighter let him through - then asked “The Vice President of what?”
He said “The Vice President of the United States”.
The firefighter told him “Get back behind the line! I thought you were the Vice President of the HOTEL!”

< insert> For an entirely too large of a segment of FR posters, < / insert> the definition of RINO is any Republican who disagrees with you about anything.

Rush also said, “I know some of you don't like romney... I know some of you do not think that he is Conservative enough... I can't argue with that... I have heard you and I know... all that I am saying is that I think this election is about obama”.
Rush does not want to lose those of us that disagree... just call and ask him. I will not vote for romney and neither Palin nor Rush is going to change that... only romney could change that... and he will not because of who and what he is.

Good interview in my book, she did a great job again of handling all questions asked, but of course I try to be a sane and rational person :^)

Of course when they want to denigrate a Republican VP nominee they shake their heads, bite their lips and wail that the person is “a heartbeat away from the presidency”.

You’re making me think that too much “Skyline Chili” and “RC cola” will rot a guys brain.
You might not like Palin and even I don’t agree with her on Rice, but to call Palin RINO is just plain stupid.
Cut back on the Chili and eat more fish... you could use some brain food.
Oh, and get some salve for that smelly case of PDS you apparently have.
When you’re driving on a hot day, how do you reach back there to scratch it? I’d bet it stings real bad when you fart.
Cheers....

Sarah knows Condi will not be picked.
She was exercising a little diplomacy IMHO.
Leftoids (and RINO’s) would like nothing more than to generate a she-said, she-said cat fight between Sarah and any other female.
Sarah was too smart to fall into a trap like that over Condi.

Very well said by Sarah. Pragmatic. If more people were pragmatic, we won’t have Romney.

FRiend, I would not leave you out under any conditions. I know where you stand, and that is shoulder to shoulder with real conservatives who will not sell out their principles for expediency.

Now that the childish and irrelevant sneers directed at ColdSteelTalon are out of the way, explain the following:
Sarah Palin states that John McCain is "the Tea Party candidate" in his bid for reelection in Arizona and that she supports him because "her vision for America is the same as John McCain's".
Sarah Palin chooses to support and endorse the RINO Orrin Hatch in Utah, instead of his more conservative primary challenger Dan Liljenquist (the same way she turned her back on the TRUE conservative in McCain's primary (J.D. Hayworth).
Sarah Palin endorses Carly Fiorina instead of the TRUE conservative, Chuck DeVore in the California GOP primary.
Luca Brasi may sleep with the fishes, but Sarah Palin walks with the RINOs.
The facts don't lie.

No, kegger8r is a troll because he has stated that any conservative who refuses to vote for Romney is NOT a conservative, which will come as quite a surprise to our esteemed Founder.
