When the Roundtable discussion on ABC's This Week Sunday predictably turned to who Mitt Romney should pick as his running mate if he seals the Republican presidential nomination, former Obama green jobs czar Van Jones made an interesting observation.
"You want to do something bold, put Condoleezza Rice on the ticket and watch the Obama campaign go crazy" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

I love Condi, but how exactly conservative is she? Is she like Colen Powell or like Sarah Palin?
I want an unabashed, hardline conservative to help get our nations fiscal house in order.

I think she has said “no” many times in many places. Why is her name still coming up in the drive-by media?
Go crazy is right! They would go crazy with glee! They would LOVE to fight against Bush all over again. Condi is a sweet lady and I admire her a lot, but she is too tightly connected to the Bush wing of the Republican Party, and the establishment RINOs by association.

They know she's not a good choice so they urge her to be chosen.

Greta sure likes her, but then she gives ALL the RINOs lots of air time, and often (like at least a couple per night).

Van Jones knows that Condi is the daughter of black share croppers and is self made, but she’ll be painted as an uncle Tom, by Obama who was raise as a privileged white boy.

I’d go with Allen West, not Alan Keyes though after his reparations rhetoric. Not to mention, Allen West is by far the better orator, more knowledgeable, and a true conservative.
Sounds to me as if the Maoists have...or *think* they have...something big on her.
West V. Biden..... that would be a sight to see.
