George P. Bush said on Tuesday that its never too late for Mitt Romney to take a leadership role in the immigration debate, but he acknowledged Republicans were outflanked by President Obamas election-year decision to allow hundreds of illegal immigrants to remain in the country without fear of deportation.
Governor Romney had an opportunity to get in front of the president on the issue, said Mr. Bush, 36, the son of former Gov. Jeb Bush of Florida. But the president clearly has taken the initiative on it.

What nauseating pablum. Are you a bush family member?
But the brand is still a little tarnished, going to have to be polished up quite a bit.
We have over 300M people in this Republic. There are tens of millions of honorable citizens who would make better leaders than any of the rabid Statists that infest the Bush family. Frankly, it's disgusting how people seem to gravitate and view certain political families as "destined" to lead us.
Both bushes were very Statist.
The Bush's desire to see the State as a positive good would indicate their true home would be the Rat party. The Bush's have nothing all in common with our Liberty loving Founders.
The compassionate conservative garbage from the Statist Bush's clearly show that they must have a revulsion to our Constitution and it's foundation of negative rights.
I voted for Bush41 and Bush43. I am so repulsed by that family that if ever a Bush runs again I will make it a point to vote for the RAT.
The best thing that can happen is for people to repudiate and ignore them and their arrogant elitist pronouncements.
How about Elba?
How about Elba?
Why does the MSM even report what this nobody says?
Consider becoming a monthly donor.
It's easy, and with enough participants
we could eliminate FReepathons.
>”And, Governor Romney, what is your reaction to the recent remarks of George P. Bush....?<
.
What remarks are you alluding to?
Do I, as a presidential candidate, have to react to every remark uttered by any American citizen? If so, I will not have any campaign time left.
RINO’s and Nobama - NO DIFFERENCE! They all want the same. The sad truth is illegal immigration HURTS blacks but they are too stupid to realize it.
Who was that guy four years ago - McCain was it?
He was the leader in the amnesty agenda, even writing the 2007 amnesty bill.
He got all them Hispanices to vote for him overwhelmingly didn’t he? Yeah, pandering to the illegal alien lobby really pays off for Republicans.
The Bushes. McCains, Grahams, Roves - all live in gated communities with security guards and home covenants to ensure that no illegal aliens ever show up around thier homes, save for the lawn care day laborers. It’s of little concern to them that you and I are living in an underwater house next to a drop house of 20 illegals, shopping at the KMart where the announcements are in Spanish, waiting and bleeding for hours in the emergency room while the illegals get their colds treated for free, hoping for a carpenter job now taken by a $10/hr illegal working off the books, and as a final insult being called bigots (Graham) who hate brown people (Rove).
And we have to listen to this rich, snot-nosed pretty boy lecture us about amnesty.
I remember that. You were correct then, and it's still correct.
"P", as the Bush family calls him, is simply the designated next-generation political "star" of the Bush dynasty. They and their fellow elites have arranged a Hispanic demographic transformation of our population and they've calculated that "P" with his mixed-heritage (his mother Columba is Mexican) will be a sure-fire winner. From their perspective you couldn't find a more perfect candidate even if you called central casting.
Like the rest of the Bush family he would be nothing if not for the taxpayer’s pocket to pick. Like ALL the Bush family they make their living brokering deals that involve their connections to government. The only thing I can say good about him is that he is openly supporting Ted Cruz. But that is all I can say about him.
“Governor Romney had an opportunity to get in front of the president on the issue, said Mr. Bush, 36, the son of former Gov. Jeb Bush of Florida. But the president clearly has taken the initiative on it.”
Yeah, you weasel, if Republicans would just out-Hispander Dims by encouraging even more illegal invaders by rewarding those already here things would be just peachy wouldn’t they?
George P. proves at least one thing: the Bushes aren’t getting any smarter through the generations.
I did not say, that George P. Bush was going to go to a high elective position as a REPUBLICAN. Like you, I tend to believe the Bushes would be intellectually more comfortable as Democrats, but a certain streak makes transforming into a full-fledged Democrat unlikely at present. Therefore, the need for polishing.
But family connections, and a certain degree of political correctness, will propel George P. into a number of high-level appointments.
Not really. His features are exactly that of Jeb Bush. His coloration is probably from hanging out on the beach and on golf courses. His mom's coloration isn't much different from Jeb Bush's. When patrician types like the Bushes marry Hispanics, they're usually of 90%-100%* European ancestry. Here's what somewhat with 70% European ancestry looks like, without the tan:
This is Jeb Bush's wife:
There's a bright future in politics for him - in the Democratic Party. Heck, they take fake Indians like Elizabeth Warren, so someone with 5% genuine (Mexican) Indian blood like GPB should have no problem blending in as yet another non-white ethnic politician.
Another Bushma liberal “lets give all the illegal aliens amnesty”
I am so tired of the Bush liberals...and the people they support. Real conservatives should never vote for another Bush, or a Bush-supported candidate
GPB does look darker than his mother.
The Bush family fully believes that in 20 years HE is the next Bush to sit in the White House.
You better understand this too !
