CA Makes Moves to Ban Most Semi-Auto Firearms
NSSF ^ | 7/2/12

(GunReports.com) -- If you think it is hard to own and possess a semi-automatic firearm in California now, just wait until Senate Bill 249 gets enacted, NRA-ILA reports.

Senate Bill 249 was amended from an agriculture bill to a serious anti-gun bill to eliminate the ownership and possession of most semi-automatic firearms by law-abiding Californians. SB 249, introduced by state Senator Leland Yee (D-8), would restrict any person from importing, making, selling, loaning, transferring or possessing magazine release components in semi-auto firearms (bullet button, etc).

Senate Bill 249, if enacted, would ban the ownership and possession of AR-15s and other magazine-fed semi-automatic firearms that currently use "bullet buttons" or other tools to restrict the removal of the magazine. This anti-gun bill would also authorize civil and criminal penalties for possessing a "conversion kit."

Also, SB 249 would make the possession of a "conversion kit" a public nuisance, authorize civil and criminal penalties and require surrendering the conversion kit. According to this bill, a conversion kit is any combination of parts that, when affixed to a firearm with a fixed magazine, are designed and intended to convert that firearm into an “assault weapon” as defined in the bill.

The coalition that is busily conquering Western Civilization without resistance is terrified that Euro American Christians own guns. The coalition cannot fully commence the total wealth transfer, reaping of the little boys, rape the women, burn the churches(the sack!) until any chance of effective resistance is removed. After all there may be a few Euro Americans left who are spiritually able to fight.

Ha, not only in KA, but forgedabotit.

I doubt if there is anything left the government could do which would arouse Americans enough to take action of that sort.

In short, we may talk & talk, talk & talk, but get wet between the legs in fear of the governement.

Don’t bring any of this Nanny State business to Tx!

Too late. Those left coast faggots have already destroyed Austin. And Tulsa. Denver. Nashville. How I hate the typical kalifornian.

Does anyone know precisely what guns cannot be possessed in The Kalifornia Peoples Republic?

I know fully automatic weapons cannot be possessed; What else?

I came to Tx from Kollyvornia, but left all that restrictive nonsense behind.

Heck, when I lived there the place(SD) was conservative, and you could buy an AK for cash with no forms anywhere.

Sure is nice to have shown Kalifornia my ass years ago.

Yep. I couldn't get that state in my rear view mirror fast enough last year. Damn shame too. San Diego is a beautiful place.

As soon as the economy picks up, I’m out of this %#@&^ state.

I have the same issue, as I still live in the People's Democratic Socialist Republic of Illinois.

So, in California Soviet Socialist Republic.....white folks cannot have semi-automatic weapons?

Well, it's a bit more specific than that.

White, Christian, Law-abiding, Conservative Americans. (and any Uncle Tom's who are Christian, Law-abiding, Conservative Americans).

If I have a large-capacity magazine, do I need to get rid of it?

No. Continued possession of large-capacity magazines (able to accept more than 10 rounds) that you owned in California before January 1, 2000, is not prohibited. However as of January 1, 2000, it is illegal to buy, manufacture, import, keep for sale, expose for sale, give or lend any large-capacity magazine in California except by law enforcement agencies, California peace officers, or licensed dealers.

IMHO, it's more a case of 'who' than 'what'.

There is an extensive list of items that are considered “assault weapons”

Full auto weapons are class 3. So are suppressors.

Both of these are easily obtained here in a free state.
