OSCEOLA -- It's a new scam, said the Better Business Bureau. President Barack Obama is not offering to pay your utility bills.
In the scam, which recently hit Michiana, consumers are being contacted in person and through fliers, social media and text messages with claims that Obama is providing credits or applying payments to utility bills.
People are then asked to provide their Social Security and bank routing numbers in order to receive the money. In exchange, they are given a phony bank routing number that they are told will pay their utility bills

“an average expectation can be placed on a family of 4 receiving up to $900 for their TANF allowance.”
$1400 a month and that is before the free housing, free cell phones, energy assistance, rent vouchers, S-Chip, social security disability payments, etc...

There is a Federal program to pay for poor peoples’ utility bills. Used to be they only did it in the winter to keep the heat on but now we consider hot life threatening so we pitch in all year long.
In our area they (some govt agency) are helping pay their utility bills. There is an ad running right now with a woman in the grocery store telling another woman how her husband lost his job and she just can’t pay her utilities and buy groceries. The other woman says......oh you need to call so and so and they will help you pay your bills then a phone number comes on the screen.
Hell, there were twits being interviewed before the first election and they were saying that with Obama as prez, they wouldn't have to pay their mortgage or for gas in their car, etc., because the "great won" would take care of all that for them. He knows what kind of idiots it is that will vote for him so he's just refreshing their memories with the grat dream in the sky so they will think that maybe it will take a second term to bring fruition to the "utopia".
All of them. They think they're getting more free stuff. They're not even going to stop and think about it.

The bulk of the fools who will fall for this are going to bore for the Kenyan so it limits their ability to send campaign contributions. Win-win

Thousands of FPL...here in Florida fell for the scam...FPL is giving them extra time to pay there bills..
But, but didn’t he promise 4 years ago to pay our utility bills and rent?!? I’m still waiting on the sparkly purple unicorn he promised me.
It wouldn't surprise me that Hussein was spreading this rumor to buy votes. After all, in '08, the word was "0bama gone make muh house payment and put gas in muh cah".
Emperor 0bama has probably decreed that these payments would come from the taxpayers anyway.
I really have a hard time feeling sorry for people who fall for scams like this.
