If he didn’t run when the bail was $150,000, why raise his bail to $1 million?
It’s obvious to me that the judge is really pissed that Zimmerman has the funds to defend himself, and he’s doing his best to burn through those funds so he can’t.
As I understand it, the $100,000 dollar portion Zimmerman has to fork over for bail, will never be returned. So guilty or not, Zimmerman has so far paid out $115,000 dollars for bail. That’s essentially $115,000 in fines before he’s found guilty of anything.
There but for the grace of God go you and I. What’s going on with regard to Zimmerman angers me.
I agree the prosecutor and the judge seem to be highly offended and pissed there are Zimmerman supporters sending him money for his defense and living expenses. They want him utterly destroyed.

It's bond/bail money. Why would it not be returned after he has shown for his appearances, etc?
