Enjoy a picture of a REAL man, human being, and President.
President George W. Bush hugs a young child during a visit to the Kasisi Childrens Home, in Lusaka, Zambia, on Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Kasisi is home to approximately 230 orphaned children between infant to university age range. It is the most well known orphanage in Zambia.
Bad News: You will never see this in the MSM.
Good News: GWB doesn’t need it.
Dude,warn me next time,now my screens all blurry.
W doesn’t display his good works for the world.
He, just like Laura, just do good because it is the right thing to do.
God bless them. And God was watching over us to have him at the helm on 9/11 (no matter what some may say about his Administration).
>>> Bad News: You will never see this in the MSM.
Worse News: Dude, the other day MSM gave all the credits to Billy Jeff Clinton. Not a peep about Bush’s work in Africa.
‘Twas ever thus... The Forces of Nice decide who may share their tent and bask in their aura.
Try to imagine a picture of Barack Obama in precisely the same situation, with precisely the same child, and precisely the same expression.
No, I can't imagine it, either.
Say what you will about GWB: genuine kindness and compassion toward others were never at issue.
We have enough Bush haters on this site so hope they’ll stop by long enough to see one of the reasons some of us really love and miss him to this day.
George W. could always be seen mixing with the people. Still true today.
Obowma hates the people and you rarely see him mixing.
I miss him too. Was he perfect, no. But he was a good man. I got to meet him. When I told him my family prays for him everyday, he looked at me like I gave him the best gift he has ever received, then spend a few minutes with me and made me laugh when he said we need to start praying for all of DC. Then he got serious and I knew he meant people in DC really needs prayer.
Another picture of a REAL man, human being, and President ... in
stark contrast to the idiot currently occupying the White House!
Well, I believe tomorrow (July 6) is GWB’s birthday.
With GW at the helm I always went to bed at night feeling secure about our country and never in fear of its future.
GW, once a hero... but at the end labeled the villain. Sad epitaph for a humble, decent guy who only wanted to do what was right for his country not what was right for the sake of politics, the establishment or for him self. GW and Lara Bush were our quintessential head-of-state first family. True representatives of the peoples Office of the Presidency... a class act. Regular God fearing humble folk who I could relate to and respect because of their character, conviction and heart which they always wore on their sleeves.
Our current crop of thieves in congress, led by Marxist ideologues, spits in the face of our Founding Fathers. The usurper Barry Soetoro is a narcist sanctimonious arrogant opportunist POS who cares only for his own prestige. Barry Soetoro is not brilliant at anything but plagiarism, self indulgence and ego.
Laws are not created for the self interests of an elite few in order to control the masses but are created in order to protect the masses from the elite few.
God save America from these Communist O-freaks that are pissing on the US Constitution and want only its destruction.
We miss you W!

You just cannot fake this picture.
I wanted to scream when he was schmoozing with the Kennedys. I wanted to slap some sense into him when he wouldn't stick up for himself. I wanted to punch a wall when he discussed illegal immigrants.
But through it all, I knew he was genuine and loved his country. Not a grifter like the POS Clinton, and not a hater of all things American like the current occupant.

“IF you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ‘em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
‘ Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And - which is more - you’ll be a Man, my son!”
“If” is a poem written in 1895 by British Nobel laureate Rudyard Kipling.
Thankyou so much for posting this. Not only do I miss the man; I miss the feeling I had about my country then. Even in our darkest days, we knew he was deeply committed to the Nation, not himself.:
Genuine compassion cannot ever be faked. The current White House Occupier loves only himself. Like so many Progressives, he claims affection for an amorphous blob of “humanity” but detests actual human beings, especially when they challenge him, even casually.
I knew you would not want to miss this picture.
While the Bushes were in Africa doing charity work, the Black Entertainment Awards were honoring Kanye West, Trayvon Martin and Bobby Brown.
