A former FBI employee sent to the Flight 93 crash site on September 11, 2001 has claimed she saw a legion of angels guarding the scene when she arrived.
Lillie Leonardi has made the bizarre claims in a book written after she retired from the FBI due to post-traumatic stress disorder which began after the terror attacks.
In the book, she explained she arrived at the still-smouldering scene three hours after terrorists hijacked the passenger jet and it crashed into a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

I believe in God, but this is a bunch of hooie.
Was that angle obtuse or acute?
Laugh if you must, I know what I saw. I was there.
LOL, cruel, plain reality.
Christians believe in the bodily resurrection, which is why burial sites have always been important. Platonists identify the human soul or spirit with the immaterial aspect of a man, but both Jews and Christians have always emphasized the union of body and soul. A man is not whole without his body.
But she may have seen something. At least she may believe she saw what she claims.
Somehow, these things curiously get “announced” just prior to a book launch...
I hope FReepers are kind, because this poor woman is obviously unstable and delusional. Why a publisher would print the delusions of an obviously troubled woman so she can be publicly mocked, is the real question.
Would have to ask the Saxons, they knew all of the angles.
I’m sure, that since she worked for the FBI, someone took pictures. I’m waiting to see them.
I had a premotion dream about 9/11 before it happened, so I can’t really say she didn’t ‘see’ what she claims. However. People have died en masse all over in horrible conditions and I do question anyone that’s trying to sell this stuff to the masses. Just experience it and learn.

“A man is not whole without his body.”
I look at it as “Man is not whole without his soul.” I feel that we are souls being given a bodily experience.
She was at a site that was still smoldering.. is it not possible she was seeing smoke?
Sorry, but when there`s a book involved, the BS factor kicks up a few.
Huh? Never heard that one before. I was always taught our soul is what goes on not our body.
Too bad they didn’t manage to guard it from American Quislings making the site a muslim triumphal shrine.
When my younger daughter was 4, she got into an upstairs bedroom and pushed out a window screen, causing her to fall out of the 2nd story window. Somehow, she landed on a breezeway roof and then fell perfectly onto my wife’s unusually large tomato plants (caged, not staked) and survived without a scratch. My daughter told me that two angels turned her so that she’d land on the plants, instead of the deck. I have no doubts.
That must have been very comforting and special for you. No doubt in my mind that there are people who are given messages of love and hope during their darkest hour by angels.
She claims to be a “spiritualist”. She says she saw angels, but the picture on the front of her book in no way resembles the description on angels in the Bible. Hummmm.
