If this guy thought he would help the reputation of the court he was wrong. All that happened is that his reputation took the hit. Brief liberal fawning and some flaky pundit spin is not going to gloss over his mistake.

I don’t buy that he did it to keep the liberal press from skewering him, or to get them to love him. If that was what he was after he would not have been red-eyed and visibly unhappy while reading the decision to a room full of media leftists. I think he knew darn well that this would ruin his reputation with anybody that mattered, and there was some other threat that motivated him.

We’ll probably never know for sure. But we need to hold off on any serious court challenges until we get a serious “original intent” person in there to replace Ginsburg. Right now the Supreme Court is dangerous to this country. They should be quarantined and kept as far away as possible from any issue of serious import.

This whole system is corrupt, lawless, and dysfunctional beyond repair. We are totally on our own. There are apparently no good guys within this system - of if there are, they are making themselves invisible right now for some reason.
