Here’s what Romney needs to say and nothing else.

1) I don’t care if it’s a tax, mandate, or penalty. The people don’t want it. I will repeal it.

2)I dont’t care if it resembles Romneycare. I wouldn’t care if I wrote the damn bill. The people don’t want it. I will repeal it.

3) I don’t care if there are any “good parts”. The people don’t want it. I will repeal it.

Excellent idea. This is one of the reasons I get ALL my news and commentary from FR, because of the excellent ideas and suggestions I read here.

I can only hope someone with some say in the campaign reads this.

Anyway, good post, Kenny. And like I say, it’s one of the reasons I get all my news and commentary from FR, because of the multitude of good ideas presented here, by some posters some of the time. No place is 100%. That’s impossible. But this place is way up there in intelligent discussion, despite some obvious counter-examples that you might see.
