In the days since the Supreme Court decision upholding Obamacare, some Democrats and commentators in the press have suggested that Mitt Romney is declaring a cease-fire on the issue and will no longer make it a centerpiece of his campaign to defeat President Obama.

See the tagline
Anyone? Bill Ayres shares different opinions from Obama in some regards. If he runs is it OK? Is it the conservative thing? It’s nor Obama so by your logic it is.
I meant to ping both of you to #57
Oh how simple!
Boy, that takes care of that!
What a honking hoot!
“Its easy. Just vote for Romney and dont abandon your beliefs.”
My God...
Thank you Black Elk. I appreciate the compliment.
Mr. Lenhart may not yet be a full-fledged member of the FR He-Man Mitt Haters Club, but he seems to be heading in that direction enthusiastically.
Answer the question Yam. Or is your Belief in Romney just another one to abandon?
Oh, who am I kidding.
Obviously you are as irrational and dishonest as any of the FR He-Man Mitt Haters, Norm.
Where has Diogenesis written that he/she “thinks Obama would be a better president than Romney”?
I am going to quote Justice Robert H Jackson to answer that question:
“The choice is not between order and liberty. It is between liberty with order and anarchy without either.”
Perhaps he could add a lot of photos and graphics, too. Really use up the bandwidth, etc.
Why can’t you answer one simple and basic question?
Most people stand behind what they say. At least conservatives used to. So why won’t you?
I asked a very relevant question and you dance like Fred Astaire to avoid answering it. Because you lack the ability to answer it without blowing the ABO philosophy to sherds.
Well the idiot better make his position VERY clear and he better not hedge on it. I just don’t trust Romney.
How's that work?
Then were told we must vote for the Republican liberal, but it's OK not to abandon your conservative beliefs??
Who are these people?
Utter BS.
Voting for Obama is voting for Obama.
Voting for Romney is voting for Obama.
This game is rigged. Just refuse to participate. Be a conscientious objector.
Your boy is an establishment, big government, quisling sell out.
Learn to be satisfied by voting strict conservative on all open seats down ticket and pat yourself on the back by either writing in Your own name for president or leaving it blank. What is do bard a out that?
Here’s what Romney needs to say and nothing else.
1) I don’t care if it’s a tax, mandate, or penalty. The people don’t want it. I will repeal it.
2)I dont’t care if it resembles Romneycare. I wouldn’t care if I wrote the damn bill. The people don’t want it. I will repeal it.
3) I don’t care if there are any “good parts”. The people don’t want it. I will repeal it.
A book I once read said something about ‘by their fruits you shall know them’.
I’d have to say that based on all available evidence, they are former conservatives who are admitting they think conservatism failed and they are all too happy to go full liberal just to say “I won”.
I also have yet to see one ABO explain how it is that electing a liberal from either party helps America.
But they sure can spin.
I’m not impressed with Team Romney. I think the Boston crew is so used to losing that they tend to circle the wagons, not have a clear idea of where they’re going and when they go for the jugular it’s like a Harvard Debate Team match and not something to be taken seriously.
Why hasn’t Romney used this strategy aggressively from the start? Myself along with numerous FReepers and other pundits noted its utility from the start during the Primaries.
If I can sit here in my underpants and plot national political strategy certainly someone with a full set of clothing, an admirable salary and a career in politics ought to, no?
“If I can sit here in my underpants... “
This thread does not require pix ;)
But you are right. FR is a treasure trove of anti-dem tactics and ideas. We the pajamadein have no difficulty thinking up ways to rout democrats. So why can’t paid ‘professionals’?
They don’t really want to. That’s the only thing that makes sense.
