Amen.

I'm a conservative, not a Republican.

I think killing babies in the womb is wrong, and I won't support it. Or support those that support it.

Replacing Ginsburg with a Roberts would be a good thing.

So, you prefer backstabbing over a frontal assault!

Gotcha.

You have no answer to the question because there is no valid answer possible. Those who vote for Romney will have to set aside any conservative principles they may hold. Conservatives (at least pro-life, pro-family, small government conservatives) do not vote for lying politicians with abortionist, homosexualist, big government statist records.

Governor Romney has NO conservative accomplishments whatsoever on his record. He was a wall-to-wall advocate FOR abortion, homosexual “rights,” liberal judges, gun-control, stimulus spending, mandated socialized healthcare, etc, etc, etc, and against Reagan conservatism.

If the GOP wins POTUS, Senate & keeps the House, and they don’t repeal this, they will be toast.

This isn’t boasting or an idle threat that people have said in the past (angry after the primaries or after a certain bill here or there), this is the real deal.

If the GOP in 2013 has the manpower to do it, and after stating that they’ll repeal the ACA (repeatedly), and they don’t (or wimp out with “keep the good, drop the bad”)....I will drop my GOP affiliation and switch to become an independent.

And trust me, I won’t be the only one.

No more checks, no more donations of my time, no more answering their phone calls or attending their rallies. Obamacare (and the new taxing authority SCOTUS gave them) is truly GAME OVER.

Are you suggesting Romney is a conservative with a conservative history?

This is a simple... Yes or no?

Not a paragraph of long winded babble...Just yes or no.

Go ahead, give it a shot yam.

you are irrational and dishonest. I think that every single thing you say is a lie, and that you are incapable of learning anything. That is my answer to your question.

Damn...This is exactly why I will never vote for another phony Republican again...You run for the tall grass real fast.

See the tagline slick.

You've defined it el perfecto.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. These are indeed, desperate times.

I considered not voting at all in the last election and probably would have gone through with it if McCain had not picked Sarah Palin as his running mate, but only because I knew that McCain was not going to beat Obama alone.

This time around, we do have a chance of beating Obama, but only if we present a united front. Romney is my default choice, too. I don’t like it, but he can beat Obama if we stick together behind him. The polls now show Romney in the lead in all the swing states, but Obama slightly ahead in the overall popular vote. Now that we know that we cannot trust Roberts, we cannot let this election go back to the courts. We need a united front.

Amen!

There seems to be many trolls..... errr ‘conservative’ freepers that are only too happy to run with anything (even if unsourced or reported by staff reporters) that would result in Obama being re-elected.

Amen!

What do they think, this is a conservative website or something? Don't they realize this is a 100% Republican website that exists solely to push the GOP line, and get Romney elected??? Any criticism of Romney will NOT be tolerated!!! If you don't toe the GOP line you will be mocked and hated!!!

Mr. RomneyCARE also has an extremely proven STRONG record of negative economic accomplishment.
And THAT ignores his imposition of death panels, RomneyCARE, endless RomneyFEES, etc.

"As U.S. real output grew 13 percent between 2002 and 2006, Massachusetts trailed at 9 percent.
* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.
* Between fall 2003 and autumn 2006, U.S. job growth averaged 5.4 percent, nearly three times Massachusetts' anemic 1.9 percent pace. While 8 million Americans over age 16 found work between 2002 and 2006, the number of employed Massachusetts residents actually declined by 8,500 during those years. "Massachusetts was the only state to have failed to post any gain in its pool of employed residents," professors Sum and McLaughlin concluded. In an April 2003 meeting with the Massachusetts congressional delegation in Washington, Romney failed to endorse President Bush's $726 billion tax-cut proposal."

I can calmly say that I won't vote for someone that is pro-abortion, anti-gun, big-government, socialized medicine guy.

I then expect to get hammered and accused of voting for Obama.

There are two groups of people on FR.
1. Conservatives (large number)
2. Kamikaze conservatives (small number)

"Kamikaze conservatives"...."They are political lemmings who will give up at the first sign of trouble. They also will quit if they dont get everything their way. They have and will ‘stay home’ on election day to try to make a point."

Ping to post #40, JR.

Sounds like the ABOs are the "political lemmings who will give up at the first sign of trouble."....and vote for Romney.

For most of us Romney was way down the list of ‘favored’ candidates. Compared to that Marxist POS Kenyan he’ll be a dramatic improvement however. Those of us that service the energy sector and/or fossil generating plants can’t survive another 4 years of this.

Absolutely. And the closer we get to November, the intensity of the RomneyBots' putrid venom on FreeRepublic for anyone who dares to stray from the GOP-e line will reach toxic levels.

Scary part is that I can just post my list of rules and not who I'm voting for and the Rombots know and kick.

Simple rules. Don't kill babies. Don't take arms from people. Don't grow government so large that it consumes the people's bread.

They know who they are. I did an experiment with it. I use the same line every time.

Hit dog yelps.

Romney Didn't Even Last a WEEK.

Posted by Ann Barnhardt - July 3, AD 2012 2:00 PM MST

As promised, Romney has folded on ObamaCare too, although had I wagered money on the timing, I would have thought that he would have lasted at least a week. But apparently the revenue curve from stupid, imbecilic suckers giving Romney money in the wake of the SCOTUS decision fell off hard enough that the Romney people felt that it served no more purpose to perpetuate the repeal charade.

Here's the link.

I hope every single one of you who gave that forked-tongued jackass money feel the full shame and embarrassment of your own gullibility and obtuseness. This slackjawed sentimentalism WILL BE THE DEATH OF ALL OF US. Your rah-rah loyalty to con-artists who wrap themselves in platitudes so that you can have a "team" that makes you feel good about yourself isn't noble or admirable. It is nauseating and disgusting. It is truly sickening to see people elevate false sentiment over truth - all for the sake of a truly shallow SOCIAL EXPERIENCE.

Ignorance is one thing. Abject stupidity in the face of mountains of pounding evidence is another.

-Romney wrote and implemented ObamaCare's template in Massachusetts.

-RomneyCare destroyed the Massachusetts economy. Romney refuses to this day to acknowledge that there is anything wrong with RomneyCare, or the economic damage it had done and continues to do to Massachusetts.

-Romney's top aides and inner circle were frequent visitors to the White House and were instrumental in the drafting of ObamaCare in 2009.

-Romney has VOCIFERICOUSLY defended the concept of the mandate that people must, as a condition of their very existence, purchase a specific commodity.

-RomneyCare funds abortion with a mere $50 co-pay and forces all people under its control to pay for contraception and sterilization, including the Church in Massachusetts. The reason you never heard anything about this is because Archbishop Sean O'Malley is a slack-jawed idiot who is a Marxist and, like most bishops today, doesn't actually believe in Catholicism. He's just a narcissistic, politicking little shell of a man who is desperate for worldly approval - particularly from other men. Sad but true. Someone needs to say this.

So, not only has O'Malley not complained about the horrors of RomneyCare, but he embraces it and supports ObamaCare. And, as a result, he still gets invited to all of the fancy parties with all of the rich, powerful men whose approval his entire existence revolves around and self-esteem depends upon. And I'm sure that he also lives in complete terror of having some rich, powerful man like Mitt Romney come up to him at a party, smile, lean in, and ask, "You don't really believe that a piece of bread turns into God, do you?" The vast majority of bishops today are embarrassed and humiliated by the Eucharist. Hence the entire problem. It all really does come down to that, whether you understand that or not. Someone has to say it.

-Mitt Romney will never, ever repeal ObamaCare. The Congress will never, ever repeal ObamaCare. The only way to get rid of ObamaCare is a junta or civil war and the establishment of the Second American Republic. The First American Republic is dead, and it is never, ever coming back.

I will not be celebrating Independence Day tomorrow, because to do so would be utterly hypocritical and a lie. The First Republic is dead, and to pretend that it isn't only feeds and enables the usurpers and tyrants who are desecrating its corpse in order to give themselves the appearance of legitimacy. If I live to see the establishment of the Second American Republic, THAT date will I observe.

The Black American Flag, flown in distress, is my flag now.

Oh STFU!!!

I’m so sick of you idiots who ARE saying Obama is better than Romney. No, the exact words aren’t there, but every post, every remark is designed to make that statement. I’ve never seen ONE post by him that is against Obama; only Romney.

If you don’t vote for Obama’s major opponent, the only one that can win against him, you ARE voting for Obama. I truly, unequivocally believe that with every fiber of my being.

WE are so DAMN close to losing everything I gave 22 years of my life to defend, and all I hear is Romney is too liberal. Obama is a full-blown MARXIST. As Jesus said, why complain about the mote in MY eye when there is a PLANK in yours!!!??? Romney is the mote, and Obama is the plank.

To my fellow FReepers who think they’re too good to save us from Obama because of Romney... SCREW YOU! I’ve had it.

Compared to no one. His second term, save for Alito, was a tragedy beyond words.

He let the wars linger on end

He tried amnesty for illegals

He spent like crazy

He tried Dubai ports

He tried Harriet Meirs

He helped us lose the house and senate

He gave us Ben Bernake

He abdicated all financial responsibility his last two years

He allowed Paulsen to get way w TARP

YOU WANT MORE?

W WAS A DISASTER!
